Carriage House

Owner is a very nasty woman if you complain about anything or just in general, the guy there is even more nasty - door to room had such a gap in it that there were constantly flies/bugs in room during summer - definitely could not open bathroom window, I left it open while I was out one day I came home it was like the Amityville Horror in my room, there were so many flies it took me a week to get rid of them all, I had to keep containers of cinnamon and pepper out to help keep the flies/bugs away - ac/heat unit did not work properly - toilet leaked sewage from bottom - internet is horrible and basically nonexistent - if you complain they call you names and talk about you behind your back, I had a video of them in my room one day checking the AC/heat unit calling me names and talking about me, I wish I had kept the video - I told the owner something personal one day, next thing I know the other tenants knew all about it, so if you do rent a room there be careful what you say to the owner - wallpaper was hanging off the walls, When it rained it was horrible because the roof and the ceiling are one there was no buffer, The refrigerator was so old and rusty and disgusting like it had never been cleaned I had to clean mold out of it, you couldn't put anything on the door because the bars that hold stuff on the door were missing and it made such a loud noise - this place is just not up to the standards for what they want you to pay - there is a beautiful hotel across the street that I would recommend you stay there instead

I stayed for three nights. The staff did a great job keeping the place in perfect shape for the three nights.

Check-in was contactless and easy. Room looked really nice, and was clean. Bathroom and water pressure were fine. A perfect place to stay without ll the extras (breakfast, pool, etc.) We will be staying here again on our next trip.

By far the best place to stay in the area. The staff is extremely proactive and responsive. We checked in late so they left us very detailed instructions for our arrival. The room was absolutely spotless (probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and I do a lot of traveling). Do not judge this place by the surrounding area or it’s unassuming exterior, this was truly a 5 star stay.

This little Boutique Motel was nicely remodeled and has all the amenities in the room needed for a weekend stay. I travel quite a bit and will definitely stay here again. I love supporting small business owners and their dreams for success. You won't be disappointed staying at the Carriage House.

We had a wonderful stay until we got up in the morning to find someone had tried to break into our vehicle. We left and after I explained the situation to the hostess she was so accommodating in calling the police so we could file an insurance claim. She couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was well appointed and clean.

It was such a cute place! Nicely decorated, super clean, very helpful host, and close to everything! Easy check-in and out. Will definitely be back!
