Caledonian Hotel Motel

Rooms are in serious need of an upgrade. Bathroom is disgusting. Shower has green mould growing inside, and some sort of brown thing growing on tiles. Drain full of hair, shower overflows as drain so clogged. Bathroom door warped and does not close. Heater so loud it shakes windows.

Great country pub live music all weekend by the look of the advertising in the hotel, definitely the fun pub in town and the food is basic but filling and cooked well, service is exceptional as well as the beer garden and pool tables

Been out for dinner here a couple of times and everytime the meals are either average, or inedible but, very hit or miss. Never had a problem with the staff found them quite lovely but since the meals seemed so inconsistent we rarely go back there.

We went there for lunch as it advertised all day dining. There was a good menu with specials including the $16 lunch. There was also a good range of beer and wine. Both our meals were plentiful and well presented. The staff were friendly and helpful. Worth the visit.

Went to the Caledonian Hotel for dinner: nice bistro area with a good, reasonably priced menu. Plenty of gluten free options to choose from: I had an excellent pork belly and my wife a good stuffed chicken dish. located on the outskirts of the CBD, nearby parking was plentiful.

My review is for the bistro, I ate on my own whilst in town for work. The meal took ages to arrive but the moment I began wondering where my meal was, the staff appeared and offered a drink on the house. When the meal came, it was steaming hot and beautiful - it was pork ribs and one of the best pub meals I've had for a while. The meat literally fell off the bone and melted in the mouth. I’ve now become a regular at the Cally Sunday sessions. No better way to finish off the weekend than chilling to some live music in the beer garden with good friends, cold drinks and delicious tucker. The staff are always very welcoming. Keep up the good work!

My review is for the bistro, I had a meal on my own whilst in town for work. The meal took ages to arrive but the moment I started wondering where my meal was, the staff appeared and offered me a drink on the house. When the meal arrived, it was beautiful - probably the best pub meal I've had for ages - it was the prom ribs and the meat literally fell off the bone and melted in the mouth. Thanks will definitely come again the next work trip.

Visited over the Easter break and was pleasantly surprised by the revamped Cally, having been there a couple of times in recent years. Great food, friendly service and the place has finally been given a bit of a revamp. Only live music in town.
