Great staff, really friendly, stayed for pleasure and any problems o encountered were easily solved such as extra towels. Price was really great, ended up staying 1 week+. Abington doesn’t really offer much but can easily drive to any location

My friends and I all dropped into the Alona after a walk around Strathclyde park for a coffee and cake, after talking to Shannon who recommended their Dinner menu we decided to stay on and have a spontaneous meal together. The service from Shannon was excellent, we spoke with a young manager too who I noticed was walking around the other tables giving them all the same time and conversation as he did with us (a very attentive young man) I believe he was called Darrel. The restaurant was very busy and had spacious bar area, I found the staff all very friendly and informative while busy they were always available for guests. We have all planned our next visit for a meal next weekend, this time I’ll be leaving the car so I can enjoy a glass of Red!

Wonderful clean and cozy hotel with very friendly staff. Excellent value for the money. This hotel is ideally suited for easily getting to Glasgow, Edinburgh Aberdeen and Noth of Scotland tours. An abundance of information brochures on hand for those who wish to take advantage of the historical sites around and afar in the country. The afternoon tea in delicious and a wonder way to spend an hour or so relaxing in the middle of the day.

Excellent service from walking through the door Mark on reception was pleasant efficient and very helpful at check inn ,my room as ready a little early and was still allowed to check inn , room was good with no issues nice and clean bed very comfortable, all the staff are very pleasant and welcoming, food and service i cannot fault , for me the location is ideal being close to the M74 , a good overall hotel staff location and rice rolled into one , i will be staying here again well done guys . I recently stayed at the Ravens Cliff Hotel Lodge by Marston's Inns, and found it to be a clean and comfortable choice for accommodation. The rooms were well-maintained, providing a good night's rest in a peaceful setting. One of the perks I noticed was a discount offered in the restaurant for hotel residents, though it's important to mention that this is only available if you book directly through the hotel, which was a bit disappointing. During my dining experiences at the hotel restaurant, I felt that the staff could have been more welcoming and friendly. While the service was efficient, a warmer interaction would have greatly enhanced the overall experience. Nonetheless, the food quality was satisfactory. Overall, the Ravens Cliff Hotel Lodge offers a decent stay, especially if you're looking for a straightforward, no-frills accommodation with the convenience of an on-site restaurant. It's a suitable choice for travelers seeking basic comfort and cleanliness.

We got married at Crossbasket in 2021 having a small wedding. We had previously visited the castle (prior to booking our wedding) and the service is the best we have received in Scotland. From booking our venue to the morning after our wedding the staff at Crossbasket were fantastic and couldn't do enough. The manager Rob, met us to show us around the castle when it wasn't officially open, he took the time to answer any questions we had and was fantastic. Vicki the wedding coordinator accommodated all of our requests and every member of staff went above and beyond on the day. We handed in a small bag of items which my husband planned to set up on the day, when he arrived every detail had been done for him. This allowed for a stress free enjoyable morning. We were married in the main castle and had our reception in the Stewart room. This suited our needs and despite covid restrictions at the time our day felt perfectly 'normal' (in line with the restrictions allowed). Our guests stayed in a few rooms which are huge and so comfy. We stayed in the Macintosh room which was stunning. My husband and I are looking forward to returning and staying again. The food was excellent with lots of choice and flavour. The roux menu is some of the nicest food we have ever had. We have since visited two ICMI properties and have to say they really set the standard for service and food across Scotland. We most recently stayed at Cromlix which similarly to Crossbasket had food to die for and service above the standard. This is something we highly recommend and we look forward to trying out other ICMI properties. Thank you to all the staff, if you are looking for a wedding venue (whether it be for 5 to 200 people!) we highly recommend this venue. Also to comment all of our suppliers had lovely things to say about the venue. Our makeup artist said it is her favourite venue to work with as they are so accommodating!

Great location by motorway with many amenities like spa , swimming pool for adults and kids also jacuzzi and sauna as well rooms are nice

The lighting in the whole building is very subtle. Nice and relaxing music and atmosphere. Only one hand and bath towel in the bathroom and, although there were more in the bottom of the bed, we were unaware of where to find these until we checked out. I was in the shower before I realised there wasn’t a second towel and it was too late to phone reception. Booking had 2 names for the room so we would have expected adequate towels in the bathroom or visible in the room rather than under the bed.

Our recent stay at Moxy Glasgow SEC was comfortable, quiet and enjoyable. The availability of heavily subsidised parking next to the hotel (which must be validated by asking at reception) was an added bonus - only £8/day! The check-in and check-out processes were straightforward, with friendly staff at reception. Accessed with a key-card, our room, although compact and overlooking the aforementioned car park, was modern, clean and provided good amenities. The view from the room didn't detract from our stay, as with the curtains drawn and window closed, any car park light/noise could be avoided - this was necessary the nights events were on at the SEC. Our room was a 'moxy twin sleeper' (two single beds) - though the beds were really close together. Additionally, there wasn't really any storage space, and the use of paper cups instead of the use of mugs could have elevated the room. Despite this, the room was well-decorated and met our needs during a four-night stay. Overall, the Moxy Glasgow SEC was well-priced, and the modern, clean rooms helped us to have a pleasant and comfortable stay!
