Aspen Manor Motel

This was booked from my work and I would never recommend anyone stay here, the reviews are all true! Will never get booked into a place without reading reviews again! I walked into the room and walked right out again, room was dirty, smelt mouldy, toilet wasn't even clean! Ended up staying somewhere else for the night.

This is so unbelievable. Me and my mother have come here to stay for 2 nights. We have travelled 6 hours to get here for a funeral. This is absolutely disgusting we have ants everywhere, other peoples hair around the place. Dirty stain sheets. We have called reception to get someone to place gib board back into the ceiling as a very cold breeze is coming through into my mothers room, reception said they were going to get “in contact” with the manager and call me back. I’ve tried to call the reception twice since we called and complained no one has come to help. What a disgrace to call a motel and such unhelpful staff. We arrived late so we have no place else to go but will NOT be staying here again tomorrow night and will be getting a refund. $240 a night what a rip off. I’m all itchy this place is so disgusting. PLEASE READ ALL THE REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING!!!

DO NOT BOOK. WE WERE BOOKED BY OTHERS SO DID NOT CHECK THE REVIEW. SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. Middle of winter - no blankets on bed just a thin duvet. Stained pillows. No hot water in shower which dripped all night. Not even teaspoons in the kitchen. Could go on but will just say ditto to all the previous reviews.

Pillows were crap. Jets in Spa did not work. Not enough plates. No wine glasses. No lock on window. Waited 1 hr to get guy to fix TV. Missing lightbulbs. definitely not worth the price paid. No smoke detector. Try another place to stay.

The pillows are so light like candy floss they disappear when you lay your head on them and have no support even when using two Only one thin duvet on the bed so thank god for the little heater,best thing there Do you want to hang up your coat? too bad no coat hangers for you Do you want to wash your hands in the basin hope you brought your own soap Do you want to dry your hands after washing them in the basin?too bad for you no hand towel There is a small table and chairs but no comfy seat or sofa, so you sit on the bed and try and use those candy floss pillows behind your back as support, Good luck The oven top has two hot plates but one is missing the adjustment knob So no changing the temperature for you and the indicator lights are broken But cooking anything is a waste of time anyway because while there is two bowls, there are no plates any no cutlery Do you want to wash your dirty bowl ?no detergent, dish brush, tea towel for you They charge $175 for this Unfortunately I have stayed once before so I knew it would probably be sub par but due to having to stay In town unexpectedly this was the only place available in my price range and you hope they have improved Second time stay is last time stay They don’t care enough to keep my business The icing on the cake was my fellow guests next door leaving in the morning playing gangsta rap at 6.50am from their decrepit car No worries I was already up writing this review, drinking my cup of tea after stirring sugar with my finger and massaging my sore neck from the candy soft pillows

Oh boy! Do I wish I had read the reviews before I book. Everything written is very much the state it in still. Tripadvisor needs to review the 'Rate your Esperance' so that there is a 'Less Worse than Terrible' option.

The bathroom towel was stained with black marks and almost threadbare. No permanent on-site manager and numerous housing assisted people occupying some of the units.

I can not understand why this is classified as a 4 star motel. This is our 4th motel in the last week, the filthiest and most under provided out of the 4 but the most expensive. No one to greet you at reception. You have to ring a number and they will come when THEY are ready. Not very friendly. No milk, no bath mat, no face cloths, no dish cloth. Two towels, two flat pillows and filthy dirty. Two quarter rolls of toilet paper. When I asked for more, the response was, we are running low on supplies. We did get more toilet paper and a couple more towels to use as bath mats. The room was dark and gloomy. The only light switch was by the front door so after you turned it off, you had to try and find the bed. Thankfully I travel with a torch. At $140 per night, they should be able to purchase more if they are running low. The cleaning cart sat in the same position for the 2 days we were there. Rooms definitely not serviced daily. The grounds are full of rubbish, ****s and long grass. I asked about returning the key on checkout as no one is normally at reception and was told to throw it through the window. I would never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.
