We booked this last minute winter getaway with a 'stay 4 nights pay for 3' deal to celebrate our 6 month anniversary/honeymoon, and it has been amazing. We are already planning our trip back! We booked the trip to escape the Melbourne winter, but unfortunately it has been raining for most of the time we have been here. However, we haven't even been bothered by the rain! It has been so relaxing just being here. The staff here have all been SO lovely. Everyone we have spoken with has appeared very happy and nothing was a fuss. We received Charles Heidsieck champagne on arrival and we were given all the options for dining, activities and shown how to use the buggy - which comes with the room. Food/drinks: The breakfast is included in the nightly rate, and has been one of the best breakfasts we've ever had. The beautiful staff encourage you to multiple things off the menu with the option to order half servings. We routinely ordered coffees to the room in the morning also included in the rate), and then walked to the long pavilion/main restaurant for breakfast with the most stunning view. You also have the option to eat in your own room/pavilion at no extra costs. Activities: Although it has rained most of the time we have been here, we took advantage of the complimentary activity of a beach picnic. This is where staff will take you on a boat and drop you off to a private beach on one of the nearby islands. We ordered lunch the night before to have on the picnic at a very reasonable price of $55pp and it was fantastic. When we arrived on the beach, the staff had already set up deck chairs, umbrellas, complimentary non-alcoholic drinks (can pre-order alcohol if you wish) and an esky with our lunch. There is a fitness centre/gym which is small but with high quality equipment, treadmills, dumbbells, benches, waters, towels, showers etc. If you want a larger gym you have access to the islands main gym which is about a 5-10min buggy ride too. The pool is stunning. We used it while it was raining, as the water was warmer than the outside temperature. You can also order food and drinks via QR codes poolside. Room: We stayed in the Leeward Pavillions (the rooms without the pool) and were so happy. We stayed in #52 - highly recommend as this has full views of the ocean and feels very private. As it was raining we spent a lot of time in here just relaxing and listening to music via the inbuilt bluetooth speakers - no complaints. All non-alcoholics drinks are included, and we would order coffees to the room often with no extra charge, which was a nice surprise. Rooms are serviced morning and night, with a turn down service. We will be back :-) thank you so much!

This resort is a top flight experience and is definitely worth it if you enjoy luxury stays. Staff was great, accommodations are spectacular and their is nothing even close to it s level on the island. I had read other reviews prior to going and some complained about service, I cannot see how one could complain as it was outstanding and I have stayed at many other luxury hotels.

The most beautiful, calm and luxurious property. I had read the negative reviews before we arrived about the service and have to say, I was a little put off. We experienced none of this, the service was outstanding throughout our 5 night stay. All of the staff were amazing, and we absolutely loved our time at Qualia. Even around the pool on a tropical weather day, the staff turning up at the Cabanas in the pouring rain to make sure we had cocktails - you are absolute superstars! The only negative was having to listen to the man complaining to us on our transfer back to the airport about his checkout and how he wasn't given a champagne, and had to go to the counter and ask for his bill, I was embarrassed for him! Qualia we will be back, you were stunning :)

We recently spent 3 nights at Qualia Resort in early February 2024. The resort was breathtaking! We absolutely loved the staff and our Pavilion was extraordinary! We planned a fantastic excursion to the Great Barrier Reef via helicopter with a brief stop on Whitsunday Island's Whitehaven Beach. The resort has their own helipad. This resort is impeccable in every way and we cannot wait to return!

Went May 2019 and forgot to write a review. We got the beach house, and it was amazing, everything included, including Johnnie Walker Blue Label? Big private pool, great sound system. And private golf carts to cruise around the island. Hamilton island offers beatiful views, specially if you go on a tour to Whitsundays

Accomodation and facilities are undeniably beautiful however service was a consistent let down during our stay. From the room not being ready at check in, 1.5hr waits at a le carte breakfast with missing coffees, water sport staff missing, cleaners entering room whilst we were still in bed, entertainment system not working needing to phone reception multiple times, often more than 5 minutes to get reception to answer phone and more. Other guests also not impressed and in pool and at breakfast hard to relax when people are getting rightly upset. We were set to love Qualia as part of our honeymoon but overall found it a let down. If I had my time again I unfortunately wouldnt choose it again. Hope this helps!

Best granola ever. Breakfast is outstanding but in saying that the quality of the evening meals was fabulous too. Where to start, the surroundings, architecture, privacy, respectful customer service all makes this such a delightful experience. I truly wish to go back asap. What a treat to all senses. Big shout out to Satine and Hamilton for their service and attention, Kayleigh for her cheerful approach and service and Stewart for his cheerfulness and dedication. There were many other wonderful staff members we communicated with including housekeeping and retail. The shop manager has excellent taste and fantastic customer service. Kate is doing the most wonderful yoga class at 8 am and it is the best start of a day in paradise. I am so happy we were able to spend time at the resort. Truly a happy place. Many thanks from our family.

Whilst Qualia claims to be six star we found the service aspect very poor. The waiting staff were are full of hi how are and pseudo interest in you that they forgot their real job of waiting the table. Dinner service took several hours in the Long Pavilion restaurant and often no member of staff was anywhere to be seen. Breakfast took over an hour on our check out morning, other guests that came later were severed and we kept getting missed. When we did get some sort of service the wrong juices were bought just how hard is it to get a two juice order right! Just about everything we had to chase up from our in room bill being wrong and not corrected to the transport back from marina we booked which didn’t show until, we managed to find a phone number for Qualia and chase it up. We had our reservation cancelled at Pebble beach restaurant because of a function. I made this booking three months prior to our stay and Qualia had every opportunity to email me to tell me rather than wait until I arrived. Again I find this from a high end resort pretty poor. That night we dined in our room which was nice and as we had a dedicated waitress the service was good so it can be done. The next day we came back from our day out to find the dirty plates with what was left of the food scraps still piled outside of our room. I will give credit where it is due and the food ( when it eventually arrived) was very good. As other guests have said the rooms are large but not really luxury. We also weren’t told on check in the keep the doors to the room closed as the Cockatoos would come in and steal biscuits from the mini bar. It wasn’t a terrible stay here but not what you would expect for the cost. The service needs to be much improved. One other point is Qualia charged us a fee to use our debit card to pay our bill ( cash isn't accepted ) as we understood the charge should have only applied to credit cards. No where else in Australia charged us to use our debit card. I don’t understand this as surely Qualia makes enough money….
