The first day we arrived we were allocated rooms with a pool view but when we went in to the room it was so dirty. The bathroom had hair in there and also hair on the bed. After a long conversation with the reception the room was changed for us which was ok but I would say this is more of a 2 star property than a 4 star.. there was 10 us in our group and none of us were satisfied with the rooms. When we asked for ac to be turned on we were told that it’s off peak so no ac but the temperature was 26 degrees and was so hot in the rooms. There are 6 vegetarians in the group but the vegetarian food was disappointing. However the staff at the bar and restaurant were very good and always served with a smile. We did not get towels at the beach and when we asked we were told to pay for them.. the men at the reception were very a noxious and rude and we felt as we were discriminated against as we were a group of Indian friends and family. The lady at the spa was very rude and ignorant. Overall I would say that the holiday is a 2 star holiday.. hotel is very run down. The entertainment group was very good. The maids were very good too.

It's a beautiful beachfront hotel in Hammamet, Tunisia. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff is super friendly. The food is delicious, especially the local Tunisian dishes. And let's not forget about the stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea! It's definitely a top choice if you're looking for a relaxing and luxurious stay. The animation team are great too and make the holiday enjoyable

Ich komme nun schon seit mehreren Jahren immer wieder ins phenicia und es ist einfach mein zweites Zuhause geworden. Egal wie oft man hier ist, alle sind jederzeit so bemüht, einem den perfekten Urlaub zu bereiten und es wird nie langweilig - danke an das tolle Team!

Quelle belle surprise que l’hôtel Phenicia… un parfait petit hôtel 4* les pieds dans le sable… Belle plage aménagée avec ses transats et ses matelas, idem pour la piscine lagon. Une piscine chauffée qui tient son rôle au mois de mai. Le spa est très agréable, merci à Nadia pour ses compétences. un restaurant buffet varié avec un personnel en salle et en cuisine qui fait toujours en sorte de faire plaisir en se mettant en quatre pour vous. 3 bars très agréable avec un staff aux petits soins, quel plaisir de voir leur sourire chaque jour. Le restaurant « Panache » était au top… Idem pour l’équipe de réception et de ménage… Et une mention spéciale à cette équipe d’animation qui nous a enchanté de très beaux spectacles chaque soir.. bien que n’ayant pas participé aux activités de journée nous avons su apprécier leur professionnalisme. Le rapport qualité / prix est au rendez-vous… Merci à notre Receptif sur place Mondial Tourisme qui a fait le lien pour que notre séjour se déroule aussi bien… En résumé : que du positif pour le Phenicia, nous reviendrons avec plaisir

Personnel à disposition accueillant attentionné et ça semble spontané ,qui a tout fait pour nous satisfaire à l arrivée compte tenu de la piètre qualité des chambres Salle de bain propre mais aucun entretien trace de calcaire moisissure rouille Literie moyenne rideaux no occultant réveil à 5h30 avec la lumière Un 5 étoile pour le bruit exceptionnel de la porte qui vous réveille forcément si vous vous coucher en décalage Piscine et plage très bien De nombreux bain de soleil L alcool local reste local... Au niveau repas Entrée fraîche mais toujours les mêmes Les desserts sans parfum et tous les jours identiques Les plats 2 nouveaux par service Gros bémol sur le bruit effrayant de la salle qui me rappelle la cantine de mes souvenirs Le bar à thé chicha vide et sympa L équipe d animation est au top Pour les marcheurs la ville est salle et pas de nature La salle de sport date des années 80. Éviter le tapis de course tendinite assurée Le spa d époque... En conclusion personnel extra jeune et dynamique. Et souriant Par contre hotel qui a besoin non pas de rafraîchissement et de mise au normes et restauration Pour l hiver piscine chauffée ext qui ne rattrape pas le reste

We have had a great week in the Phenecia and would definitely recommend it. We are already looking to book again for next year. The best thing about the hotel for us was the staff. They are all so attentive and looked after us throughout our stay, The waiters always had drinks ready for us before we were finished our last one and were so friendly, without exception. Special shout out to our waiter in the entertainment room, but all were great, We did tip them daily but only because they work so hard and deserved it. The large entertainment team were amazing. Not sure how they managed it, but the are always around for a chat, as well as putting on some fantastic shows in the large entertainment room at night. Don’t know how they have time to fit it all in, but they do a great job. We didn’t really take part in the day time activities, preferring to relax by the pool, and the team respected that, but still kept us updated each day on what was happening. Night time entertainment was brilliant. A big well done to the entertainment team for working so hard to make our holiday so special. The hotel itself is lovely, we had no complaints about our room, and the pool areas and beach were great for relaxing.

Just back after a week at the Phencia Hotel, most of the staff are wonderful, the bar men and waiters, the bell boys(men), the cleaners. However, what is really irritating are the entertainment team, I know they have a job to do, but not trying to sell bingo or tombola tickets while having a meal. The hotel is starting to show its age. The rooms need updating it is no longer a 4 star hotel, high 3 but not 4. The window in the gents toilet by the lobby is shattered. This was the same last year. I have said it before and will say it again. This is not an English hotel, so don't expect English food. There is something for everyone, try the food, you will be surprised how nice a lot of the food is. The quite pool has a sign no-one under 16s. However, this is not enforced. There is a kids pool by the main pool. Can't see why they have to start using the adult pool. We will be going g back to Tunisia, however going to another hotel.
