Easy to locate, Greggs and burger king right opposite hotel, garage as well Bed comfortable, bathroom big but we had accessible room, 2 chairs in room, small TV, very spacious, water got, body wash, towels are big. Only downside no Aircon Ask at reception for hair dryer and iron Kettle and mugs and glasses in room The staff in duty are excellent nothing is too much for them

The hotel is basic and a bit tired, but it’s cheap and clean and we had a good night’s sleep there. The facilities are limited, there’s a Greg’s/Burger King which between them cover 6 am to 9 or 10 pm, but nothing else. However, there are fields and a footpath to the rear which go for miles so it’s an excellent stop for the dogs!

A good Travelodge superbly located next to a Lake. Staff very helpful, The room was clean and there was adequate parking nearby. It was quiet and we hardly heard any noise from other residents. We walked to the nearby Beefeater for Breakfast. Very handy for the shopping outlet and it was useful to be able to use the room until 12 noon

This is a great place to rest up if you want to break up your journey. It’s right in the A1 north and has a Greggs and Burger King on site. I booked in advance and got a fantastic rate of £27

Stayed here with 7 motorbikes. 2 bikes stolen in early hours of 23 May. Staff unhelpful,couldn’t access cctv until manager in next day. Also told cctv is crap anyway. CCTV Burger King didn’t cover bikes as top of car park. Found out another bike stolen 2 weeks prior

Black mould on tiles. Bath tub had lots of disgusting dirt on the plug holder. Hotel needs a refurb.

Very rundown on approach. Didn’t bode well. Room was ok to be fair and the odd staff member that we saw was cheerful enough and helpful. It’s cheap so you are getting what you pay for but I wouldn’t stay again.

Stayed here Fri 3rd of May overnight with 4 of my mates on motorcycles and 1 trike .The lady receptionist went above and beyond to help us and even made sure our bikes was safe and secure..she also asked security to keep a eye out . Such a lovely caring person .I hope her employers at Travelodge see this and realize what a fantastic asset she is to the company 👌👌
