You can also use the large public bath at the neighboring Hotel Shidodaira, which is a sister hotel. I didn't go, but my husband said that the sauna in the public bath there was good. Many of the staff were young and everyone was very nice. The wording is in the past tense and I felt a sense of incongruity at first, but it seems to be a dialect of Iwate.
