We splurged a little and stayed at Yukaen as a celebration before my brother's marriage registration.
The room was very clean, and we could see the river from our room. Snow started to fall at night, and it looked beautiful and fantastical from the outdoor bath. I felt the temperature of the outdoor bath was a little lukewarm, but it may have been just right for a long bath.
There was a wide variety of dishes for dinner, and there were plenty of side dishes so I didn't get bored and I enjoyed the meal to my satisfaction.
It was a bit on the pricey side for me, so I would like to return on another occasion.

I arrived at the inn by rental car on a snowy day. I was worried about the journey, but when I arrived, I was thrilled to be able to enjoy the open-air bath while looking at the snow. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable.
