Rusty’s Getaway was an awesome place to stay for our daughter’s wedding weekend in Findlay! The house was VERY clean (I’m pretty particular), spacious and had everything that you could need! We loved the huge master bedroom and the on suite bathroom was super nice!! (Especially the shower!) It was an added bonus that the house is pet friendly. We got a chance to meet the owner- Jay. He was very thoughtful and talked to us about the house history… Rusty is his adorable pet cows name. If you’re looking for a great place to rent - check out Rusty’s Getaway… you won’t regret it.

Perfect Getaway Spot – Can’t Wait to Stay Again!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this amazing house, and I can't say enough good things about it! The place was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The location was ideal—quiet and peaceful, but close enough to explore the local area. The hosts went above and beyond, making sure we felt right at home. From the comfy beds to the fully equipped kitchen, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommend!

Awesome Getaway or Place to Gather with Family/Friends/ Co-workers
Rusty’s Getaway has many creative details with a very functional layout. We enjoyed our stay and the kids loved the Barbie House, back patio and yard. It was great for family reunion gathering. Host is friendly and easy to get in contact. We definitely will be back!!!

Great House
We rented this house as a base for our son's college graduation and family visits. Jay met us for check in and went over the cool features of the house. The house was clean, and kitchen stocked with essential tools. It was centrally located to the activities we planned for our stay, and there was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed our stay, and if we are headed back this way we would definitely rent this again.

About this property
This brand new three bed, two bath home was designed for gatherings and events with handicap accessibility throughout. No transitions from the front sidewalk to the rear patio. Wide open spaces make getting around easy. All the doors in the house are 36 inches wide with pocket doors. The main bathroom is fully accessible. The bathroom faucets are ergonomic and the mirrors are lighted. There are tvs in the main bedroom, great room and garage with surround sound in the great room. The laundry room includes brand new washer and dryer and also a mini kitchen that includes your drip coffee maker with complementary filters, coffee, cream, and sugar. There are five chairs at the kitchen island and four stools at a bistro table and eight chairs at the dining room table to provide seating for dining for 17. The living room has an electric fireplace with remote control and a fold out couch with two love seats also offering seating for seven. The garage has a large tv and couches and granite wet bar for entertaining. Spectrum TV is provided including a smart TV. The kitchen is ready for all your creative baking with all the small appliances and dishes you could need including some basic baking supplies. There’s also a large pantry filled with preparation and serving supplies. There are three large bedrooms with queen beds and touch lamps with usb ports. The second bathroom has lighted mirrors and a tub/shower. Rusty’s Getaway, when booked with Rusty’s escape, would be a great event location. Your next party or a group gathering could be right here with both houses as your event location. Don’t bother cleaning or worrying about your home not being accessible or your guests being allergic to your pet.
