SSAW Boutique Hotel Hangzhou Qianjiang New City

This hotel exceeded my expectations after a two-night stay – truly a hidden gem! Not only is the location convenient, but the decor is grand, the facilities are comprehensive, and it's spotlessly clean. Being in an office building gives it a great sense of spaciousness!

Great location, right by the subway entrance, and super close to the Qiantang River – perfect for a morning jog. The room was better than expected; my only minor complaint is that the cold water tap barely worked.

The self-service breakfast was fantastic, with both Chinese and Western options. They also have a gym and a free laundry room, all with new and comprehensive facilities, making it super convenient for workouts and laundry while traveling. Overall, it's great value for money; the service, environment, and facilities are all impeccable. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou!

Feels like a 5-10 year old hotel, the towels and bedding are really worn out. It's an eco-friendly hotel, but you have to pick up the toiletries yourself at the front desk, and the quality is very poor. The lighting is dim, and the 'garden view' they advertised is a total scam – it just looks onto an air shaft. If you don't close your curtains, you can clearly see right into the room across the way. For over 500 [currency], it's worse than a budget hotel, which was quite unexpected.

The rooms are quite spacious, and the wooden floors are very clean. I always choose this hotel for my business trips. The breakfast is abundant and thoughtfully caters to various dietary needs, which I appreciate! However, this time the refrigerator in my room was very noisy, constantly buzzing. It took me a while to figure out that was the source of the sound.

The room was really spacious and bright. I loved the chaise longue-style tea table by the bed, perfect for lounging and using my phone. The hotel is also conveniently located near Jinjiang Metro Station, making it easy to get to West Lake and other scenic spots by public transport.

The hotel felt smaller than I expected once inside. We had to pick up toiletries ourselves at the front desk. It's very close to the subway station, just three minutes away (but! there's basically no food options nearby, so choose carefully). The room key is required to use the elevator, and they only provide one. If someone goes down, the room immediately loses power, which is also really inconvenient. Another negative is that the toilet and shower are in the same space with no separation, and the shower glass can't be frosted for privacy. !!! Here comes the worst part. Just when I thought everything else was fine, the hotel's pajamas hit me hard. I had an allergic reaction with bumps all over my chest, back, and thighs. I had just showered, put them on, and sat for a bit before the itching started. I thought that at the very least, these would be washed after every guest. I just wore them temporarily that day, and this happened. They must not have been washed for at least half a month or more. Warning ⚠️ girls, definitely do not touch them! I got a rash and had to shower again to feel a bit better. WiFi connected to the TV barely worked; I connected my Tencent SVIP, but watching an anime, one minute would buffer for five minutes – it was completely unwatchable. I don't understand why such basic things are so poorly managed. Also, there was no afternoon tea, coffee, or warm porridge 🙁. I paid 1314 for two nights, but neither the butler nor the hotel proactively contacted me with check-in reminders, and the front desk didn't inform me where to get these things. This hotel's hygiene is really subpar, and there's basically no service to speak of.

The hotel's location is very convenient, close to the subway, and only four stops from West Lake. The room was spacious, and the hygiene was good. Breakfast was plentiful, and they even offered free congee in the evening.

After comparing many hotels, I finally settled on Hangzhou Jianggan Atour Hotel, and it truly exceeded my expectations! The room had a lovely Chinese-style decor and was very spacious. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. Its location is super convenient, close to both the subway station and the riverside. Plus, the service was excellent. Highly recommend!
