New Century Grand Hotel Hangzhou

Soaring 218 meters high, this building offers breathtaking panoramic views of Hangzhou, with its pointed peak gleaming golden, a classic silhouette against the city skyline, making it a true urban landmark. As the designated reception hotel for the G20 Hangzhou Summit, it has repeatedly won China's highest hotel industry awards, such as the "China Hotel Golden Star Award" and the "Golden Pillow Award." My stay was absolutely excellent, truly living up to its reputation for leading professional standards and hospitality services nationwide. Both the guest rooms and bathrooms feature floor-to-ceiling glass windows, allowing you to watch TV directly from the bath. The rainforest shower and Hansgrohe fixtures provide a luxurious experience. The elegant color scheme paired with a modern Chinese design style, coupled with the unobstructed high-altitude views, creates a wonderfully comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

Facilities: The hotel has been renovated before, but it still looks like an older hotel/motel overall. The hallway outside the room felt a bit low, and the elevator doors also seemed quite low, but the space inside was surprisingly high. There were a lot of mirrors in the room; I'm not sure why it was designed this way. There was a large mirror on the wall, one in the middle of the window, one in front of the desk, one at the washbasin, and a small one in the shower. 😅 The washbasin was transparent, and the faucet was set back, constantly leaking, which felt like a design flaw. All other facilities and equipment were good. There was plenty of space in the room for our luggage and belongings. Hygiene: Apart from my child finding a bottle of water left by the previous guest under the bed on the first day, everything else was good. Environment: The overall environment of the hotel was good and tidy. The soundproofing was decent, not too noisy. Service: Warm and friendly. Hygiene (Playground): I hope the playground management can be stricter. Many adults and children enter barefoot, which is a bit unsettling. Also, I hope the circular climbing net can be reinforced, as it's already loose, and it would be very dangerous if it broke while someone was climbing. Service (Dining): They do consider children's meals, especially for young ones like ours. They have IKEA-style complete cutlery sets and relatively suitable food. I just hope that items like steamed buns and congee in the breakfast area could be served hotter.

Although it's an older hotel, it's very well-maintained and feels quite new. It's a great choice for both business trips and family vacations. The customer service manager even upgraded us to a room with a view, which was fantastic!

Pretty good, the service was quite attentive, and the hotel facilities were complete. It would be great if the breakfast price could be a bit lower.

True to its reputation as a seasoned five-star hotel, the management is incredibly professional. Every staff member I encountered, from customer service and concierges to the security guards, was exceptionally friendly and made me feel right at home. The hotel's location is also fantastic, with a subway station downstairs and MixC mall just across the street, making it incredibly convenient.

The hotel facilities are well-maintained, and the service is polite and enthusiastic. The swimming pool and children's play center offered a great experience, and the breakfast was good. Of course, there's always room for improvement.

Excellent location, great service, and clean. They even provided a small fan because of the heat. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou!

The hotel is conveniently located right next to People's Square Station on Metro Line 2, making public transport a breeze. With plenty of shops and supermarkets nearby, finding food and essentials is no problem. If you're driving, there's ample parking. It's only a ten-minute drive to Xianghu Lake and about half an hour to West Lake, making it a stress-free option for both business trips and leisure. The breakfast was plentiful and the service was excellent!

Located in the heart of Xiaoshan, with direct subway access for convenient travel, the butler-style service is meticulous. My overall stay experience was perfect. The room was bright, clean, and odor-free, the mattress was comfortable and stress-relieving, and the bathroom amenities were high-quality.
