Great location right next to the lake. Room is clean. Staff is helpful.

Location was Great as it was right in front of the West Lake. Service wise was not badbut but the room had a foul smell, I had to have th windows open the whole time. We have requested for a room change but was asked to pay extra for upgrade if ever. Just wanted to have a clean room and not an upgrade

Exclusive, conveniently located on the lake  but it seemed worn on the inside.  the staff was nice.

Got a free upgrade to a better room. The location is just across the West lake, which makes it very convienent. The building and rooms are bit outdated and really need sone rennovation. it looks like there hasn't been any big updates since the 70s. Also, bit old smell but just bear it. this place is very convienent

Although the facilities in the room are a bit old, it is clean and right by the West Lake. If you are just here for fun, it is better to stay here. I am already a frequent visitor here. I like this kind of express hotel. There is a Thai restaurant on the right turn of the hotel, and there are all kinds of delicious food ahead.

The hotel is in a great location, right by the West Lake. You can see the West Lake from the window. There are electric cars and boats around the lake next to the hotel, which makes it very convenient to go out. Although the hotel facilities are relatively old, the hygiene is still quite clean.

The hotel by the West Lake is picturesque. I will still choose it next time I go to Hangzhou. The West Lake is so beautiful.

The hotel is opposite the West Lake and the ship dock, which is very suitable for the elderly to have a holiday. The elevator also requires a card, which gives a full sense of security. There is a McDonald's, convenience store, subway station, and commercial area downstairs, which is very convenient. Super cost-effective.

It feels like returning to my home in the UK. I didn't know how to use the shower faucet at first, and soon the floor attendant came to teach me. She was very friendly and found that there was something wrong with our bathroom lighting. She immediately called someone to fix it (the electrician who repaired it was very efficient). It was 10 o'clock in the evening, and it took less than ten minutes from calling someone to fixing it. The master worked hard. I lived in 408. I took a bath at night and the hot water came out after only five minutes, but it was not as long as the legend said that it took half an hour. Although it is not newly renovated, the solid wood furniture and leather seats are solid. The toilet is American Standard, and the hair dryer is original Braun, which reflects the quality of the hotel. The sanitation is good, the tables and chairs are spotless, and the quilts are clean. The hotel management service is very good. When we leave, we store our luggage and need to pick up the luggage with a receipt, which makes us feel very at ease. The location of the hotel is great, right by the West Lake, and it is very convenient to go anywhere. There is McDonald's and various restaurants downstairs. The hotel also has its own restaurant on the fifth floor, and the buffet breakfast is 20 yuan per person, which is very affordable. The two-night package I bought is 699, which feels really good value. The Grand Hyatt next door is also in the same location, but it costs more than 1,000 yuan per night. I will definitely stay here next time. The inconvenient part is that there are only two sofas in the lobby for guests to rest for free, which is really not enough. I hope the hotel can think of a solution.

Huaqiao Hotel feels like an ancient name:), the only thing I am satisfied with is the location, right by the West Lake, the convenience of travel is impeccable. But the facilities in the room are too bad, I don't know where to start, just take the bathroom, you have to drain a lot of water to get hot water when taking a bath, you have to be careful when standing in the bathtub, the shower faucet is probably 20 years old. I am an old customer. When I go to Hangzhou, I must stay at the Overseas Chinese Hotel. West Lake is right outside the door. There has been great improvement after the renovation, such as mosquito repellents, etc. If you love West Lake the most, stay at the Overseas Chinese Hotel.
