Fuchun Resort

A great staycation in the Yangtze River Delta, perfect for a peaceful retreat and some introspection. Definitely worth revisiting. Big thanks to our butler Jamie for the warm and prompt responses!

Facilities: This hotel has an old-money vibe. While the facilities aren't brand new, they are very practical. Environment: A return visit to a familiar place; I can never forget the mountains, rivers, and beautiful scenery here. Service: Our butler, Judy, provided exceptional and attentive service. Knowing our child was older, she upgraded our room and added a tatami bed. We even received a small gift upon checkout! Perfect.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Although the hotel has been open for a while and some of the facilities are a bit dated, it didn't negatively impact the experience. I'd suggest a more diverse breakfast selection.

Excellent service! Our butler, JoJo, was incredibly thoughtful, responsive, and attentive. The stay was fantastic, very comfortable throughout, and there were plenty of activities. We'll definitely be back!

This hotel is great for a vacation, though the air in the rooms isn't the best, possibly due to its age and location in the mountains. (It smells a bit musty.) However, the oxygen content is high, making for a very comfortable sleep. A leisurely stroll around the lake is also very pleasant. The lake-view seating at breakfast is absolutely fantastic, and enjoying breakfast while watching the sunrise is a truly unique experience. The downside is that breakfast itself is a bit underwhelming; the semi-buffet set menu feels a bit haphazard. The crayfish noodles with thirteen-spice seasoning didn't hit the mark, and the portion of noodles was too large. I'd suggest offering a smaller portion option. The chef for dinner was excellent! The oil and salt levels were perfectly controlled, and the flavors were spot-on. The braised shrimp, stir-fried eel with scallion oil, and stir-fried loofah were all incredibly authentic. My only slight regret is that the hotel's own landscaping and small environment aren't as good as they could be (due to design and planning).

Went there for a golf trip, and honestly, the rooms were a huge disappointment. If you're just looking for a cheap place to crash for a night while golfing, then go for it. But if you're going because of the Fuchun Resort name, your experience will be pretty bad. The rooms are really old, dated, and damp. I booked two rooms, and both were assigned to the very end of the building. Stayed for two nights, and I won't be going back.

Had a wonderful three-day, two-night stay at the Fuchun Resort, a place I've long admired. The architecture, rich in Chinese aesthetics, blends seamlessly with the natural environment of Fuyang, creating a truly harmonious feel. Hiking here was wonderfully wild and scenic. The resort's thoughtful service was evident in every detail: from the welcome greeting and the consistently helpful and responsive personal butler (Benson) before arrival, to the doorman's proactive and natural assistance with luggage, and the waitress's meticulous inquiry about dietary preferences at breakfast. All these touches reflect the hotel's high standards of service and made me feel truly respected. I even left my hat in the calligraphy class and only realized it when the instructor notified me and said it would be promptly returned to the lobby. The shuttle drivers were also very punctual, almost always available on call. The housekeeping staff were diligent and friendly. The hotel also offers a wide range of activities, and the travel photography service was particularly high quality. Fuchun Resort truly lives up to its reputation as a high-end resort. I'd love to visit again!

This trip was a family vacation, and if you're looking for a secluded getaway where time seems to slow down, Fuchun Resort is absolutely worth a special journey. It's not just a hotel, but an immersive experience of nature, art, and life. The service team is professional and thoughtful; from the butler to the concierge, they remember guests' preferences, truly embodying the subtle yet profound Eastern hospitality tradition.
