Aira Kim Ma Apartment

I wouldn’t definitely recommend this place. The apartment was fine. But the elderly man who met us was strange and rude. The check in process took more than 15 min. The man touched us by his hand and continued speaking Vietnamese language even after we said that we totally don’t understand him. 😃 I don’t joke. He doesn't know what hospitality is at all. He acted as if he was doing us a favor. There were also a few other negative points. All shelves were covered with mold. There weren’t a kitchen knife, a cutting board and a rice cooker which there are on photos of the ad. The bed was really hard. The apartment is located close to center. But you have to go through a narrow labyrinth to find the building. 😃 We asked the man for a kitchen knife with a board to cut our fruits. The man gave it us. But the next day he knocked on the door and asked them back. 😄 It was weird. Luckily that case didn’t spoil my travel. 😊 I traveled around Vietnam a lot. And I know that the most Vietnamese hosts are kind, pleasant and polite.

do not book this place. the old receptionist is extremely rude. he will refuse to share the wifi, refuse the check in and will then make up reasons to make you leave. even after he confirmed my booking, he lied and claimed my visa stamp was tampered with. he then took pictures of random pages of my passport and looked at those like sth was wrong with them. i knew from previous experience in vietnam that if i ignore their scam tactics and insist my booking is confirmed/paid i will eventually get checked in. when he realized i wasnt gonna leave he handed over the keys. its insane that they treat their paying guests in such a hostile and disrespectful way. the room is small and smelled like used tampons. the shower has no water pressure and you have to hold the shower head the whole time because the toilet is in the way. the bathroom is tiny, had two unwashed cups, a leaking toilet and a huge hole in the low ceiling that looked like unfinished construction. one of the kitchen cupboard doors was completely ripped off and just left on the floor. it was hard getting any sleep because of the loud ac, small/hard mattress and doors being slammed all day. a constant stream of racing motorbikes through the narrow back alleys made getting in/out of the neighborhood annoying and dangerous.

Although the location is a bit difficult to reach there, however I totally love this apartment. I enjoyed my stay here with room and friendly owner.

The space is clean and fairly close to a large supermarket. It is a little difficult to get to if you have a lot of luggage since the car cannot travel there so you will have to walk 5 mins or so. Room smells good and very small balcony/ledge to hang clothes.
