InterContinental Hotels HANOI WESTLAKE by IHG

The InterContinental Hanoi Westlake is not only much more affordable than the InterContinental hotels in Taiwan, but the service in every aspect is also impeccable. The room cleaning each day is incredibly meticulous, and the hotel is situated right on the beautiful West Lake, meaning stunning views are right outside your door.

The room is spacious and comes with a balcony, which offers great value for money at this price point. While the facilities aren't the newest, the service is still good. The breakfast area also offers a nice view.

I only stayed one night in Hanoi, but the hotel floating on the lake was truly stunning. The entrance was a bit inconvenient due to ongoing construction. The pool was a good size and depth, which made it very enjoyable. All the staff were friendly, and I was very happy with the breakfast.

After checking in, we found the double bed to be wider than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. The room's balcony and the view were beautiful, and the hotel's interior looked stunning at night. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety of options, and we were very satisfied.

The hotel environment is good, but I got scammed by Trip.com. I paid hundreds more than on other platforms, and they gave me the worst-located room in the hotel. I'll be careful choosing Trip.com in the future. Honestly, the hotel facilities are complete, and the food is high-end. I tried both restaurants, and the taste was good. Breakfast was perfect.

I visited with my family. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Regarding housekeeping, they won't clean your room unless you place the card in a visible spot. The hotel is a bit far from the city center.
