Hanoi Sky Hotel Reviews

Booked this hotel for 2 nights. Got a free upgrade with windows in the room. Room was very new, clean and big with free water, tea and coffee. Most important is that this hotel have an elevator which is easy for tourist with big luggages. Staff was great and helpful. The hotel provides money changer, tours and motorcycle rental. Buffet style breakfast was great. Excellent location with lots of food stalls and cafe around till late nights. Will come back again.

The hotel is located in the center of the old town, beautiful interior, pretty, clean, delicious buffet in the morning, polite and attentive staff, I will visit again next time 😜

Was I lucky to get a room on the top floor for about 5,000 yen? It was actually good. It's a little further from tourist spots like the night market than the accommodations in the heart of the old town, but the surrounding area is convenient with lots of restaurants, laundry shops and other shops. My impression is that many of the three-star hotels in the old town (accommodations costing around 3,000 to 4,000 yen) are shabby and the staff are not very motivated, so they tend to be a bit questionable.

I planned to stay for 3 nights and requested a room with a bathtub, but they said there wasn't one on the first night and that they would change it the next day. They changed it the next morning, but said it was a mistake on Trip.com's part. The breakfast was small but had a variety and felt homemade. The female staff member was very charming. The staff were basically obsessed with their cell phones. It's very Vietnamese, in that they only seem to be out and about when necessary. The location is good and you won't have trouble finding somewhere to eat once you leave the hotel. It's down a small street so you can't call a taxi, but you can get a more Hanoi feel than in the touristy areas. I took a bus from the airport, but the hotel was within walking distance of Hanoi Station. Whether I'd use the hotel again or not, I'd like to stay in this area again!

The room is old, very small in size. The window is small and without ventilation. The staff is nice, the guys helped with booking a bus to another city 👍

The air conditioner is not cold enough! It shuts off automatically! The decoration is very poor! If you see multiple people living there, they will stop you and not let you get on the elevator! My family entered the elevator! They insisted on opening and closing the door! It's very dangerous! They don't care if you live or die! Later, they asked us to pay 100 yuan more per night! Only then they let us go up

The staff at noon, May 11 - morning, May 12, had an uncomfortable attitude. Probably criticizing the people of the provinces.
