Cambria Hotel - Arundel Mills BWI Airport

Hanover|4.92km from city centre
It's beautiful, clean and modern, but not one you'll want to stay at if you have an early morning flight. We didn't know the shuttle didn't start until 7 am (odd) or we would've booked another hotel. When you have other travelers complaining about this, you may want to reconsider your hours. PRO'S: I will say the lobby and room were beautiful modern eye candy. It was clean, the bathroom luxurious, the bed like a dreamy pillow and the staff courteous. We only spent about 6 hours there, so not enough time to try the food, breakfast or the gym- which looked upscale with many machines and weights. CON'S: As others have mentioned, the halls can be NOISY. We should've known something was up when we had to sign a disclaimer upon check in that we wouldn't have a party in the room. A first! Having said that, the walls/door seem to be a bit thin. The drunken people heading to their rooms at 2 am sounded like they were in our room as they passed. A total bummer when you have to leave for the airport via Lyft ($30) at 4:15 am . Here's a thought: Maybe one hallway on the top floor could be reserved for airport travelers or those requesting quiet rooms (since you're an airport hotel?). That way you can ensure your patrons a good night's sleep. Fellow WHITE NOISE LOVERS? For those that depend on a hotel's thermostat to have a constantly running fan option, this does not. Again odd, as we rarely run into this with hotels. The fan will turn off when the temp is reached, leaving you susceptible to any hallway noise. It would be great if you had a few portable fans available or even one tucked in each room like you do hairdryers. Also, if you're a hot sleeper in July's heat you cannot adjust the AC to any lower than 64 degrees. Will we stay there again? Perhaps if we don't need an early shuttle and ask for a quiet room. I hope the management will consider these comments, because this hotel could be amazing if it addressed a few areas.

I’m surprised at the reviews of past customers moaning about the way “maid” service is managed here. I think people are selectively hearing when they check in and/or fail to read the placard in the bathroom that expressly tells you that if you want fresh towels, bring your old ones to the front for exchange. Methinks management has had quite a few towels “walk” and this is a method for controlling inventory. We were told at check in that the hotel is an extended stay property and we would NOT have daily room “maid” service and since we are able and know how to do so, we made the bed ourselves and we were fine with it. It was actually quite painless. The room was quiet, the beds very comfy. Kitchenette well stocked with utensils for an extended stay though we didn’t need to use it much. The Guest Center with (free to use!) washers and dryers was a pleasant surprise and the “honor system” to purchase snacks was a nice touch. Free coffee and juice much appreciated. We found all staff we encountered unfailingly polite and helpful. My only gripe: we paid $25 to have our dog stay with us. The dog walk area out back was strewn with broken bottles, so we had to be very careful where we stepped. And a few male guests sat in their vehicles out back to drink and smoke at night; this created a bit of an intimidating atmosphere. Note to management: you are pet friendly, and if I’m paying to keep my pet, you need to provide a clean & safe area to take him, that’s why I can rate you only 4/5.

Live! Casino & Hotel - Baltimore Washington Airport – BWI
4.4/5100 Reviews
The hotel is located near the airport and is surrounded by Baltimore's largest shopping mall. It has everything to eat, drink and play. The hotel facilities are very good. It is equivalent to a domestic five-star hotel. The rooms are large. The casino downstairs is a famous casino in the Washington area.

We chose this hotel because we wanted to spend a night at the ****** for a little getaway. We had a 2 room suite which was clean and comfortable. After a nice night out at the ******, we got up and worked out then had breakfast. The breakfast was pretty good with a nice selection of both hot and cold food, breads, and fruits. We had been here years ago and there was a shuttle to the ****** but it is no longer running so we just drove. All in all a very pleasant over night trip.

The Hotel at Arundel Preserve

I am not one person to leave a review. However, I am less than pleased. The room is covered in dust. It took over four hours to cool the room down. The king size bed sags in the middle and is extremely uncomfortable. I absolutely do not feel clean in this room. The fitness center is absolutely disgusting. The thermostat in the fitness center is held on by scotch tape and it is overwhelmingly hot in there. The machines have clearly not been cleaned in a while and there are machines that have clear evidence of heavy sweat left on them. I recommend saving a few dollars by choosing another hotel nearby. There is nothing worth the price tag of this stay.

Two seniors, our son and 3-year-old grandson made a reservation at this hotel when traveling to Annapolis for another grandson's baptism. We made the reservation through hotels.com, paid for it ahead, and received a confirmation which said our reservation was guaranteed. We arrived at the hotel at approximately 8:30 pm with an overtired toddler to be told that the hotel had oversold rooms and we had none. They also did nothing to help us find another room but instead referred us back to hotels.com, which found us a room at a Westin hotel 15 minutes away by car. The next party who arrived after us were told the same, although for some reason the staff was trying to help them find a room although they had booked through booking.com. The hotel staff admitted that they often oversell and have this problem every Saturday night. BEWARE!!
Clarion Hotel BWI Airport Arundel Mills

I literally looked across the road through the trees and saw the Clarion sitting on a hill. I left another hotel chain (which will remain nameless) on the spot because it was filthy, funky, and run down. I did a quick peek online and saw that Clarion's prices were reasonable. As I drove onto the parking lot I was hoping it would prove to be better. When I went into the lobby it was bright, clean and smelled fresh. I asked Mohammed who was the desk clerk to see the room before I booked. Vanessa escorted me as I checked out several rooms. All of them were clean and neat. I made my choice and had an excellent stay. Mohammed (sp), Vanessa, and Mamoora (sp) were all very helpful and pleasant. Mamoora (sp) was especially kind and pleasant. I WILL GLADLY STAY AGAIN. Pros: I did not pay $150-$200 a night for my stay, the staff was friendly and helpful, the continental breakfast was tasty, I appreciated the free bottled water greatly. The room had two sinks, a microwave, fridge, and ironing board. Great internet. Cons for picky people: It's not a 4 star hotel but very decent! The a/c unit in the room was clunky and loud but adjusted after a day or so, the pool was closed, and the restaurant was too. It was warm in the halls when I first arrived and the bed was a bit misshapen. It did not stop me from resting well. No restaurants in walking distance.
