I was absolutely delighted with the service. The front desk team, a young man and woman, were incredibly hospitable, going above and beyond to cater to our every request, truly embodying the warm and generous spirit often associated with people from Northeast China. Any issues that arose were promptly and efficiently resolved. The hotel's location is also excellent; it's very convenient to get anywhere by public transport (bus or subway). A walk to the Songhua River is also very pleasant and quick. The food was great too. Breakfast was comprehensive and included fruit. The dishes and cutlery were so meticulously scrubbed with detergent that you could even smell the cleaning product after they'd just been washed, which speaks volumes about their hygiene standards. However, there's one point worth mentioning: the hotel's soundproofing and ventilation/odor isolation were not ideal. The famously boisterous and loud speaking style of people from Northeast China was very evident in the hallways. Furthermore, the smoking issue was quite severe. Guests smoked in their own rooms, and the smell would unfortunately drift into other rooms through the bathroom ventilation. There were also guests smoking in the restaurant without any intervention, which was quite challenging for me, as I cannot tolerate even the slightest scent of smoke. Perhaps this is something everyone has grown accustomed to. Yet, I can't really fault the hotel itself, as these issues stem from guest etiquette rather than the hotel's failings. It seems guests feel *so* incredibly comfortable and at home here that they become completely uninhibited – freely shouting, smoking wherever they please, without any consideration, just happily enjoying themselves. In a way, this paradoxically reflects how genuinely relaxing the hotel makes its guests feel. Despite these points, the overall experience was very comfortable.

The environment here is absolutely top-notch! It's a garden hotel with extensive grounds, beautiful lawns, and lovely flowers and plants. The buildings themselves are also very aesthetically pleasing. The service is excellent too; they proactively contact you to arrange check-in. The location is superb. Directly across the street is the Ocean Polar World and a subway station. The entrance to Sun Island Park is just a few hundred meters away. I originally considered staying on Central Street, but I'm so glad I chose this place instead. It's incredibly quiet, yet getting to Central Street is very convenient – you can take the subway from the Polar World or walk to the riverfront for a ferry ride. The room was a fairly traditional standard room, and the amenities were all good. The breakfast was very extensive, offering a variety of Chinese and Western pastries, congee, and side dishes. I'd definitely want to stay here again on my next visit!

The room was much more spacious and brighter than it appeared in the pictures. The decor was simple yet stylish, making for a very comfortable stay. What surprised me most was how incredibly clean everything was. The sheets and duvet covers were spotless and completely odorless, and the bathroom was immaculate, with even the corners sparkling clean. The hotel's location is fantastic; it's right by the Songhua River, parking is convenient, and it's close to all the attractions and shopping areas. Plus, there are plenty of great little restaurants nearby. It's rare to find a hotel with such great value for money. I've already recommended it to my friends and will definitely choose it again next time I'm here. Definitely a five-star rating! The owner was also super friendly and enthusiastic, and gave great recommendations for sightseeing routes.
