Homeinn Ripple Yun Hotel (Harbin Central Avenue)

The location is incredibly convenient, right next to Central Street and its subway station. It's clean and the service is excellent. While breakfast isn't provided, you can easily walk to the nearby Hongzhuan Street morning market, which offers a huge variety of delicious food.

The location is incredibly convenient – right outside Central Avenue subway station. The famous Central Avenue itself is just a short stroll (a little over 100 meters) away. The rooms are clean and the staff are very welcoming!

I saw that this was listed as a Homeinns hotel, but it's not what I expected. The facilities in the room were basic, and there was no soundproofing. I could hear the elevator running in my room, as well as conversations next door and kids running and playing in the hallway. They put me on the 7th floor, where the signal was bad, and the public Wi-Fi was unusable, extremely slow. Apparently, the whole building shares one Wi-Fi. Especially when getting takeout – I ordered something I needed, plus food and a drink, and I had to go up and down the elevator several times, getting no rest at all. The hot water for showering was very, very limited, only lasting about 20 minutes. Be very careful if you choose this place; I personally don't think it offers good value for money.

The location is excellent, but the entrance has several large steps, which isn't ideal if you have a lot of luggage. The bathroom doesn't have a separate wet and dry area, and the anti-slip mat had some black spots.
