Mudong Youth Hostel (Harbin Central Street Branch)

This hostel is a good price and centrally located near to ZhongYang Street and 10 minutes walk from the Saint Sophia Cathedral. My eight-bed dorm had a toilet/shower and then a sink outside. There is a common area and laundry facilities. You have to put the sheets on your own bed at this place, which I didn’t mind. There is no lift to this fourth floor hostel, so this could be an issue for some. The staff are very helpful and they can make you a coffee for 10 yuan. A good budget pick.

This is the best Hostel that I have ever stayed in. The location is right on central street (the street that is in all the stuff to do lists on Harbin). It is also only 10 minutes walking distance from the Saint Sophia's church. There is also this mall 1 minute walking distance from the front door called Euro Plaza a 7 story shopping mall with all the food and shopping you would need or want. Apart from its rooms, the hotel offers a common area and free washer dryers for its guests both of which are very clean. It also has refrigerators in the common area that it sells drinks out of, I even saw people store their food inside the right most refrigerators because there are no refrigerators in the rooms. Overall I would definitely stay here if I come back to Harbin.
