Harbin Central Street Huasu Yishe Boutique Hotel (Saint Sophia Church)

My stay at this Harbin hotel was an extremely poor experience. The room on the basement level was severely damp and moldy. The moment I walked in, I was hit by a strong, musty smell. I had already informed the front desk about the strange odor in the room before heading out for an errand in the afternoon. When I returned to my room around 9 PM to rest, I found that the hotel had only turned on the air conditioning to deal with it. Since I had to get up early for business the next day, I thought I’d just make do for one night. However, when I lay on the bed, the bedding was completely damp, cold, and sticky from the humidity, making it impossible to sleep. In the middle of the night, the damp environment became unbearable, so I contacted the front desk to request a new duvet. The hotel offered to bring me a new one, and not wanting to bother them too much, I agreed. Less than two hours later, the freshly delivered duvet was also soaked through by the room's humidity. I suffered from complete insomnia all night, which severely affected my rest. Later in the night, I started coughing incessantly, followed by continuous dry heaving. I then approached the front desk again to request a normal room, which they only agreed to after consulting with their manager. After checking out the next day, I discovered many small red rashes on my abdomen. I have recorded all my conversations with the front desk, which fully corroborate the entire communication process. The room had poor ventilation, excessive moisture in the walls, and the bedding was completely inadequate for moisture protection. The damp environment fostered mold, which is very unfriendly to the respiratory system. This hotel absolutely does not meet normal accommodation standards. I do not recommend it for business trips or travel stays.

The location is great, making it very convenient for getting around. The front desk staff were wonderful and very accommodating. Since the hotel has been open for a while, I can understand that the bathroom drain wasn't perfectly smooth. It's a shame I didn't get to see the little cat; I heard it went home to escape the summer heat. Overall, I had a fantastic impression of Harbin; the people were all so warm and friendly.

The hotel's location is superb! It's very close to Central Avenue and Saint Sophia Cathedral, both within walking distance. Downstairs, there are tons of restaurants and snack shops. It's also very near the train station, and there's an airport shuttle stop nearby, so transportation is a breeze. There's even a cat cafe on the first floor! During winter, you can get to the Ice and Snow World without needing to transfer. This place is perfect for families traveling with seniors and children, offering easy and convenient access to everything.

The location is fantastic, right outside the subway station. I stayed in a basement room; it had A/C and Wi-Fi, but no cell signal. The environment was great too, with plenty of clean and hygienic food options nearby.

Every time I come to Harbin, I stay here. It's just one subway stop from the train station, and St. Sophia Cathedral is only two blocks away. Central Street is also just one block from here, which is super convenient. It's great value for money too, and there are even cats at the entrance!

The room was absolutely fantastic! It was very spacious, the air conditioning cooled down quickly, and the large bathtub was wonderfully comfortable for a soak. The bed was soft and cozy, and I loved the smart home features and the big-screen TV. Everything was spotlessly clean, offering incredible value for money! I also appreciated the lovely little garden design in front of the hotel and the cat near the entrance. The only minor point was that the front desk staff didn't seem particularly enthusiastic, but otherwise, everything else was excellent!

The location is fantastic! It's just a block away from St. Sophia Church and you can easily walk to Daoli Market for some local snacks. Central Street is right across the road, and the subway station is also a short walk away. What's great is that you get all this proximity without the noise of Central Street itself. The price is excellent too, offering great value for money. Although the building is a bit older, the facilities are good, and the air conditioning works well.
