Harbin Central Street Habsburg Hotel (Sofia Church)

The security staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, taking care of every detail throughout our stay. It truly felt like a 'princess treatment' where we didn't have to worry about a thing. The concierge was also exceptionally warm and meticulous. Noticing we had a child, she proactively offered kids' toothbrushes and slippers. Concerned that the children's slippers might be too small, she thoughtfully provided an extra pair of adult slippers as well – the attention to detail was outstanding. The restaurant experience was excellent, with an elegant ambiance and attentive service. The menu saw small updates daily, so eating there for multiple days never felt repetitive. They even included a beautifully decorated latte art yogurt, which was not only adorable but also delicious.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Central Avenue, and it has its own parking lot, which is super convenient if you're driving. The rooms are clean and hygienic. The hotel's breakfast buffet offers a wide variety, and the staff, especially those working the breakfast shift, were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond, even patiently 3D printing several cups of yogurt for us – what a pleasant surprise! ✌️

This hotel is absolutely fantastic and comfortable. It's located near the Songhua River and a subway station, offering great views, with Sun Island across the way allowing for distant river views. The hotel rooms are very comfortable, clean, and free of any odd smells, with excellent hygiene. The breakfast is exceptionally delicious and definitely worth a special visit. The customer service staff are very helpful, attentive, and enthusiastic.

Excellent, excellent! I'm so grateful that on my first day in Harbin, I felt like a princess. Every staff member at the hotel was incredibly warm and welcoming. Since it was off-season, they even upgraded our room. The room was absolutely huge, perfect for a little one to run around in! The hotel environment is also very nice, and right across the street is Swan Castle. Harbin at night is truly beautiful. The location is also great, just about a ten-minute walk to Central Street. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance!

The room was incredibly spacious and well-equipped with thoughtful amenities – they've really thought of everything, even disposable face towels. The best part was having two bathrooms, which saved us a lot of time. The front desk staff were very warm and friendly, and so was the lady who helped with our luggage, especially attentive and caring towards the elderly. Although there was a slight hiccup during check-in, it was resolved perfectly thanks to the front desk attendant's patient communication. It seems the hotel puts a lot of effort into staff service training. The restaurant was great, with a nice ambiance. While the hotel breakfast offered a good variety, there's definitely room for improvement in terms of changing up the menu daily.

The room was clean and tidy, and as an old luxury hotel, I felt very confident about the hygiene. My only minor dislike was the carpet, as I personally feel they can harbor dirt, but that's just my opinion. The front desk staff and other employees were incredibly enthusiastic, even calling guests 'princess' and 'prince' – so charming! The location is excellent; it's right across from Exit 1 of Youyi Palace Station on Line 3. The Sun Island cable car castle is also directly opposite the hotel, making it super convenient to get to nearby attractions by subway. Just a small suggestion: it would be great if the hairdryer could be upgraded to a high-speed one. It's a real necessity for women with long hair. Of course, given it's an older hotel, high-speed hairdryers might not have been common when it first opened, so they've probably just kept the original ones. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

The hotel's location is excellent. You can take the cross-river cable car right across the street, or walk to the Songhua River bank, Central Street, and Hongzhuan Street Morning Market. The breakfast was incredibly rich and received consistent praise from my parents. Plus, we were lucky enough to visit Harbin during beautiful weather – clear skies and pleasant temperatures, offering stunning views of the Songhua River and the scenery outside our room window.

The restaurant is fantastic, with a great atmosphere and excellent facilities. The breakfast selection is varied and available until 12 PM, so you don't have to worry about missing it. Plus, the dishes change slightly every day. The staff are friendly and welcoming, always greeting you with a smile. They even specially made 3D-printed yogurts for the kids, which were adorable! The hotel rooms are also very clean and tidy, and the soundproofing is good. Most importantly, the hotel's location is superb. Just cross the road and you're by the river, and taking the cable car straight across leads you to Sun Island. Central Street is only a 5-minute walk away, which is incredibly convenient. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Harbin.
