Hidden Cabin Retreat with Hot Tub in Lost City, WV

The cabin is very secluded and peaceful. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway this is your place as you have to drive to any major attractions especially if you have kids . State parks are close . Beds super comfortable. We loved the screened in porch. The host was very responsive. Only downfall is you have to drive your garbage down the road.

When we arrived, there was a bottle if wine awaiting. Outside was a stack of wood for the fireplace ready to go. If it had been a little warmer, we would have enjoyed the screened in porch with couch and table just off the living area. Downstairs was a hot tub on the deck to enjoy as well, which we did, (and under the stars one night.) There was an absence of the sound of traffic when we stepped outside on the porch. There were two nearby lakes to fish and enjoy, which we also did. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway, this is it.

The hot tub was very hot and relaxing. The house was really well decorated and luxury. the kitchen has all the equipment that we needed and in general everything was very good.

Cozy cabin in the woods. Communication from host was above and beyond. All issues (no fault of host or mine) were handle quickly, some even before I knew there was an issue. Host provided recommendations that we were able to take advantage of. Hot tub and fireplace were so relaxing. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stock. Bed in master was comfortable. Close to hiking trails. Disappointed we were out of season for the lakes. Great place for couples, families, and pets.

We will definitely return whenever we can run away again. Thank you!

Bryce was extremely responsive, answering any questions I might have had within minutes. Nothing was wrong at all, just some minor questions. He clearly thought through all of the little details as the house had all of the necessary tools for us to cook in the kitchen, do laundry, run the dishwasher, etc. Since we came right after Christmas, we really appreciated the added decorations (tree, lights, Christmas pillows/blanket). It’s all about the little things. Oh, and plenty of firewood for the indoor fireplace and the outdoor fire pit! We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub in the cold weather! Will be returning.
