We go regularly for an evening meal and are always very well looked after. The food is good, service is good and so is the atmosphere. Everyday pub food which seems to be hard to find these days Our waitress Louise couldn’t have been more helpful and polite . Love the organic rose wine!

Fantastic place to stay, very friendly staff and excellent food in the restaurant. You even get the little chocolates. Nice touch for a self confessed chocoholic.

Another great night in the Green Man with friends, as always fantastic staff with special thanks to Jacob in the bar. See you all again today for yet another drinking session of a great selection of beers and good fun. I must remember to book a table for Sunday lunch! (Mick)

We stayed in the hotel for a family reunion/birthday meal. Jana was on the front desk when we arrived, she made us feel very welcome with big smiles and a great sense of humour. She quickly checked us in and when she found out it was our family members birthday she surprised her with a birthday card! What a lovely touch! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The rooms had a cozy countryside theme and we were very pleased to see a selection of tea, hot choc, coffee and biscuits. The birthday meal was truly something! The waitress we had was attentive and friendly. The food was spot on. I had the Sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection. Safe to say that we will definitely be using this pub and hotel as a hub for future family get togethers. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Joanna was great in welcoming us and make us feel home after a long journey Great place room are clean and nice and everyone is so kind and willing to help. We also had dinner on the associated pub great food and it is the same place of the breakfast that offered tons of nice options

Stayed for two nights as was visiting an event in Stansted. Food and drink very good in the pub restaurant on our first night, second night we walked into nearby town and enjoyed a curry. Room was very dark and difficult to apply make up with ease, hot tap wouldn’t turn and carpet looked like it needed a more thorough hoover. The bed was very comfortable so slept well.

Great place to stay. Very convenient for Old Harlow and Memorial University’s UK campus. Lovely pub and restaurant and great beer. Easily walkable around Old Harlow and to/from Harlow Mill Station accessible on the Cambridge North line from Liverpool St Station in London.

Our server was Louise, she was excellent and very knowledgeable. I had the lamb shank shepherds pie, it was delicious followed by brownie fondant. Will visit again very soon. The setting is very pretty set on the outskirts of Harlow and used to be a coaching house for horse and carriage.

I recently stayed at The Green Man hotel and was greeted by Emily at the reception desk. Her warm welcome and friendly demeanor instantly made me feel at ease. Emily efficiently checked me in while also taking the time to chat and offer suggestions for nearby attractions. Her genuine hospitality added a personal touch to my stay, and I appreciated her helpfulness throughout.
