On their website they have it listed as 2023 TripAdvisor Traveler’s Choice Award but when you look at that list they are not on it (you can google that award “logo” and just copy it from internet). Is that the case? This tells me not the best practices with honesty to their customers. I wish them the best, but not a place I would recommend.

Super friendly & helpful staff. They knew it was my husband’s birthday & they went the extra mile to make sure it was extra special. One thing they did was put fresh flowers & a small sign in our room. The Inn has such character & history it’s hard not to love it. Beware, there are a lot of steps inside and out & parking is not on property but they can help you with places to park. Our only negative was a bathroom not in our bedroom (down a flight of stairs) but it was our own private bathroom. We would definitely recommend the Town’s Inn. Thank you again Glenda.

We tried Town's Inn for the first time and totally loved it. We stayed for 2 days in the 1840 suite with our 2 kids (11 and 10 year old) and they absoutely loved it. Karan (the owener) is very sweet and opened a bathroom for us on the 2nd day for shower instead of using the shared bathroom. The place is one of a kind and is highly recommended for people who appreciate minimalistic places. The kitchen pretty much have every grocery possible and kudos to the team (manager) for holding everything together. Highly recommended!

My boyfriend and I spent one night in the Friendship Room and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was cozy, cute, comfortable, and clean, and the interior stone wall was super cool. The shower was warm and refreshing after our long hike. Our goal was to be able to sip our morning coffee on the porch and see the mountains and we happily achieved that in the Friendship Room (the doors of this room open up directly to the front porch). In such a historic town, it was a treat to stay in such a historic Inn. All the staff we met were very friendly and accommodating (thank you for holding our bags and explaining that we need both the NPS and Inn parking passes!). The only downside was the sound of frequent freight trains from about 11 pm until 2 am, but earplugs helped solve that. We'll definitely be coming back!

Saw the video on YouTube. Pic of 4 women 3rd from left has a smile that could brighten any room. Taking a vaca there in March 2024. Hope to see that smile greet us. Wondering if the wax museum across the street is open? Know its for sale a d part of the trip down there from ct.

Historic hotel right on the main street of Harpers Ferry, WV, directly in the center of all the beautiful shops along that road 😊 I agree with some of the reviews that say this is a bit rustic, yet given that it is indeed, a historic hotel the rustic part goes along with the territory, and is, indeed what you will love about staying here. Harpers Ferry is certainly worth the trip, and it’s especially beautiful in the spring time.

Inn owner was very gracious. As were others on staff. All sorts of snacks and other food and beverages available. Country store had lots of interesting things with great prices...educational items for kids. On Main Street...convenient. Lots of blankets, etc. Just one negative...Our room, Friendship, needs work on bathroom. No ledge keeping shower water from toilet area. We solved with rolled up towels.

Our family stayed in the 1820s Suite for 1 night. 2 adults, a 19 year old and an 11 year old. We absolutely loved it! It was super unique and unlike what you'll experience at a boring run of the mill hotel. There is so much history in this building. We enjoyed exploring, marveling over the architecture and sleeping comfortably. There were plenty of heaters throughout the suite as well as blankets, books and games. We really enjoyed our stay and we plan to come back again. The reception area/cafe with lots of self-serve items was awesome. The owner, Karan, was so pleasant to speak with, was very knowledgeable about the area and genuinely cared about us having a nice stay. If you're looking for a fancy 5 star hotel, this is not the place. If you want an awesome, historic building that is comfortable and safe. You can't go wrong while staying in Harpers Ferry.

Food was subpar, but thankfully this area is surrounded by great restaurants in walking distance. Rooms felt cramped and I didn’t like the defensive nature of owner. Nice room though. Beautiful area, but you’d be better off at the Clarion or Quality a few blocks away.
