We stayed 1 night in Heron's Perch cottage for a girl's trip. We loved everything about it! The location in Harrison is perfect, the property is beautiful and the accommodation clean, cozy and well appointed. The kitchen has everything you need to make simple meals with coffee and tea provided. The beds were very comfortable with ample pillows and blankets supplied. Be aware that only able bodied adults and older children should sleep upstairs, as the steps are very steep. To help with safety on the stairs, there are handrails, nonslip strips and motion sensor lights for the nighttime decent. The attention to detail to help make your stay comfortable is obvious. Checkout the website! We will be back!

We were up here for a dance event that was a few blocks away. The location was good for us as it allowed us to walk everywhere. We enjoyed using the hot tub. We stayed in Sequoia, which worked well. I would suggest looking closely at the pictures of the cottages on their website. Sequoia has a large double tub in it that required a fair amount of mobility to get into and out of. If you have mobility concerns, you should not stay in this unit. The kitchen had the right tools for our (limited) needs for eating breakfast and lunch in the room. The views from the back area are really spectacular. The hosts were communicative and friendly. We never saw them; it was all over email. We would stay here again.

Well equipped, cozy, immaculately clean. My two guests were very pleased. And happy to learn that they were allowed to smoke on the deck. I would have given a rating of five if it weren't for the extremely steep stairs to the second bedroom. I could never have navigated the stairs, as I have some mobility issues. My guests were nervous but managed ok by using the handrails.
