Knights Inn Harrisonville

Let me start by saying, this was a last minute stay for us, so there weren't many options. The desk guy is nice a person but hates his job. So he'll greet you but then tell you that he won't be there, so good luck if you need anything after check-in. The motel is located by a busy, noisy road. So, it's loud. The room was dirty. Scuff marks and poorly patched holes on all the walls. Hair in the tub. Poop streaks and cigarette ashes in the toilet. Pretty gross. Definitely not a place you want to walk around barefoot. The heat worked well, so there's a plus. The bed and pillows were comfy and there weren't bed bugs, but a cockroach did crawl across the bed just as I was about to fall asleep. Needless to say, I didn't sleep much. The breakfast consists of 2 kinds of cereal and the smell of smoke, so if free breakfast is part of why you choose a place, this isn't it. Overall, if you just need a cheap place to sleep, this will do. You get what you pay for.

The room was clean and had all of the amenities however the combination AC / heat didn't work, and there was only a sheet and a thin bedspread. I would stay there again if the heat was fixed.

This property met my needs perfectly. Pet friendly, clean and comfortable, and economical. Check in was easy with pleasant staff.

Economical one-night stay.

Good spot to rest during long trip. Rooms are clean with great ventilation system. The only thing that wasn't great was the toilet. It needed to be manually shut off; the flapper wouldn't hold. So it would run water forever if you don't open tank and stick your hand down to push flapper closed. Price was quite fair too.

The sheets were dirty looked like never changed. When we reported it the woman was very rude.

Took awhile before someone came to check in and when he got there he got a phone call and proceeded to talk while I waited. Overall nice place to stay
