Friendly and helpful staff and great location for exploring the Town. Breakfast service wasn't the best as we had to wait for some of the cooked items to be replenished. Here are some helpful tips. The half dozen 15 min drop-off places are often taken and some all day. So, if you are planning to use the underground car park go there first as the stairs/lift connect to Reception. The car park is NOT owned/operated by Premier Inn so don't expect any discounted charges. It has around 40 spaces, a few are extra wide and when we visited there were plenty of available spaces. However, if there's an exhibition on at the International Centre that could change. IT IS expensive £15 for 24 hours (£25 for 48 hrs) which may explain why it wasn't busier. Although a sign directs guests wishing to walk into Town back down the driveway, ignore it and use the path (see photo) across the front of the large hotel...everyone else does.

Nice people just a shame the breakfast was not ontime (at least 15mins late), had to leave without due to meetings in Leeds. Hotel location good and a 5min brisk walk to town and carparking next door with hotel discount.

On arrival at the hotel, there was no sign of anyone on reception. In fact, I couldn't find any staff anywhere. It was all automated which I have never experienced before. I prefer a human to be present to be honest. I was meeting up with a friend in Harrogate so we chose this hotel as a convenient rendezvous. We discussed what we needed to discuss in the bar in the hotel. This was a very pleasant experience. There were a few people in but it wasn't crowded. We then went out for a meal nearby and came back and had another drink in the bar. Credit must be given to the very nice, helpful girl on the bar (and doing lots of other jobs it would appear) called Eliza. She tried very hard to look after everyone. She was excellent. I was looking forward to a good night's sleep. I liked the idea that checkout time was noon. Unfortunately, I was woken up early by two inconsiderate cleaners who were talking quite loudly in the corridor outside my room. Not quite sure why, if they had to talk, they didn't do it in the room that they were supposed to be cleaning. The price of the stay was extremely low so I guess it's difficult to complain too much but it wouldn't take much to make it even better. The car park was right next to the hotel in the conference centre. It cost half as much as my stay at the hotel to park overnight!! At least I didn't have to walk far.

Visited this hotel and to my suprise exceeded my expectations down to one member of the team! The ladys name slips my mind(senior moment) she was the head of housekeeping department. She seemed to be a one man job most days. She checked me into my stay and gave me great local knowledge which was greatly appreciated as a lone older lady. She had even cleaned the room herself aswell, when i entered the room the standard was brilliant. The first thing that caught my eye was how beautifully made the bed was just like all the adverts id seen. The cleanliness of the room was also to a very high standard. I went for breakfast the next morning and to my suprise there was the same lady who had checked me in and cleaned my room serving me my breakfast. She did so with a kind smile although she seemed to be doing so much. Not once though did i seem to see anyone of a higher authority around the building helping there members of staff. Please pass on how grateful i am to this lady for making me feel so welcomed.

The room was very clean easy access to the restaurant down stairs plus you could go play or hang out on the lawn of the majestic great car parking lots of space The restaurant food was very tasty quick check in and out. The only thing that needs to be done is the improvement of staff training because when we went there toaster malfunctioned and started a fire In itself other than that great trip

Second time staying here as a big group and second time we were promised that all rooms would be ready as we arrived late, this happened last time so was not a one off. I felt sorry for the poor lad on the desk as two mini bus load of people arrived and room check in keys were not prepared when we were told they would be! It was late in the day and some people had to wait nearly an hour before they had their rooms and everything was paid up front. The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable, easy check out.

Hotel is a shambles. Non existent cleaning in room, disgusting stains and dirt everywhere. Had to make the children’s beds myself as they were so short staffed. Gave us 1 towel between 4!! Key constantly didn’t work. Gave up waiting for my 5 year olds dinner after 2 hours waiting, he went to bed hungry. Reduced me to tears. Staff do not care. Avoid this place, dreadful experience all round.
