Staff speaks in English. I stayed for 2 nights and paid 152€ (76€x2), which I think is excessive as I stayed in better German hotels in cities such as Berlin, Dusseldorf and Baded-Baden for very similar price, in a small town like this I expected better breakfast for same price, it was cold breakfast (no bacon, sausages nor fried eggs). But probably the price is like this as they don't have competition in this area (Marienfeld).

Ok budget hotel, though quite basic for the price. My single room was quite small and basic but the bed was comfortable and the shower was good. There were a few annoyances such as rather thin walls (luckily the neighbours were fairly quiet when I stayed). The curtains don't fit the windows so you go get a lot of light in the room in the morning, which I guess can be a positive or negative thing depending on preference! Not much choice for accommodation in this town, so guess this place is OK for a night...
