Parsons House B&B

Perfect hosts with David offering hot drinks throughout the day.The breakfast was superb and we will be going back at some point when hopefully the weather is better!

A fabulous B and B in a beautiful village. David offered endless trays of tea and shortbread , a restaurant standard breakfast and is a mine of information! Our mattress was a dream and our sleep was blissful - we even had visits from resident kitty Maude!

We have just come back from the most relaxing stay at the Parsons House B & B. As soon as we arrived we was made welcome and was asked if we wanted a hot drink. We was then shown to our room upstairs. The room is very homely and cozy. We did not miss having a tv in the room and we quite enjoyed having the radio on. With the area not getting a phone signal other than when we was on the wifi at the B & B it felt like a nice detox . Ive not felt this relax in a while. Dave made a lovely breakfast and could not do enough for you, checking we was happy with everything. We went for a walk which as amazing views. We went round the village and vised the gift shop, cheese shop and had a cake & hot drink at the farm shop. Also visited both Devonshire arms and the Charles Cotton Hotel for a few drinks and food.

Our 2 night break was a Xmas gift from our daughters and what a find . Parson House was both quirky and reflected David our host’s unique and welcoming character . His attention to detail and personal touches made our brief stay one to remember . Would highly recommend a visit to Parson House and a welcome also from Maude the cat! We had a wonderful stay. David was an excellent host and looked after us so well. Breakfast was a particular treat!

We stayed for 3 nights and found that Parsons House really is an excellent place in a lovely village and that David is a genuinely exceptional host. Superb!

Very friendly hosts and always around if needed.

We loved every minute. Very welcoming and we felt at ease straight away! Breakfast was excellent, especially the starter which was a new thing for us but we are now making our own. Tea was on offer whenever you liked and also had a great selection from earl grey to fruit teas. Would definitely stop again if we plan on going to the area again. Once again thank you!
