Grantley Hall

Stayed for my wife’s 80th birthday in the Royal Suite together with my son and daughter in law who stayed in a suite. From the second you walk through the entrance it’s amazing. The room was out of this world, the staff are the best I have ever come across and I have stayed in some great hotels. The grounds are pristine and a delight to walk around. As for meals in the restaurants, perfection is the only word I can describe them as. The spa and outside area are a delight. We just cannot wait to return to this magical place.

Attentive service from the minute you enter this stunning building, beautiful decor and furnishings, interesting menu and a never ending wine list! Friendly staff in all the different areas and departments! Wonderful experience can’t wait to return

We have just stayed at Grantley Hall for one night. We will be back and will recommend very highly. The staff and the service are second to none - from the greeting at the gate, the valet and the check in to the maintenance staff around the grounds. So much investment must have gone into the recruitment, training and leading of the team. Our bedroom was superb, as were all of the reception rooms, lounges, spa and gym. We ate at the Shaun Rankin restaurant which was fabulous. Very proud to have such an amazing establishment in Yorkshire.

My partner asked him to marry him at this hotel, we got a complimentary upgrade to a suite and private dining experience. I felt like royalty, the staff couldn’t do enough and we want to come back and get married at Grantley Hall. The spa is amazing, food at fletchers was outstanding and the grounds are gorgeous. Can’t wait for our family and friends to experience it when we come back to tie the knot. Thank you

Fantastic in every way, a true 5 star. Exceptional service from the moment you arrive and enter the hotel grounds via a long driveway. The team that work here cannot do enough for you they are a true credit to this fantastic place. If you’re thinking of visiting just do it you won’t be disappointed.

Just returned from a stay at the stunningly, gorgeous Grantley Hall. We are well travelled and appreciate a gem when we are lucky enough to experience staying at one, and this most certainly is one. Every element of our stay was perfect. Genuinely perfect. The suite we had was stunning and immaculately clean with every thoughtful, modern and useful extra tastefully included for comfort and convenience. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, but not at all intrusive - all with impeccable manners, which makes such a difference. Thank you, to all the staff who kindly wished my sister happy birthday throughout our stay, she was thrilled to bits. Personable but again, not intrusive. We throughly enjoyed the Spa facilities, what beautiful and serene place it is. The massages and facials that we both had were superb and very relaxing, we both fell asleep for the first time ever whilst getting massages. All of the food that we had (lunch, DB&B) was throughly delicious - not one complaint. The service in all of the food and drink areas was impeccable. The work and dedication that must go into keeping Grantley absolutely immaculate in every area must be vast, but it is oh so very worth it. The staff must be trained to a very high standard and it shows. You cannot help but be in awe of just how perfect the whole place is kept, it even smells beautiful throughout all of the buildings. Thank you again to one and all, you were truly amazing, we really have appreciated and loved every minute of our stay.

Where do I start?! My wife and I had 2 nights stay here last week. Grantley Hall has been on our radar for a while now, but we’ve not been able to make it work for one reason or another, so fast forward to check in, we couldn’t have been anymore excited. Grantley Hall is not just a hotel, it’s an experience. Our expectations were not just met, they were surpassed more than we could ever have imagined. The staff are fantastic, the bedrooms are pure luxury, and the gardens are beautiful. In fact, there wasn’t one area of the whole estate that I came across which looked unmaintained. It’s tranquil and the true definition of an escape. The food was exquisite, especially in Fletchers. A special mention to Tim from Fletchers who cared for us expertly. We still tell our friends now that he was one of the most approachable and friendliest, yet professional Maitre d we have ever met. He made us feel so comfortable, we actually felt like we had known him for years. I even had to ask him what he was wearing because my wife thought he smelt amazing. Every staff member we came across was a credit to be fair, but Tim was special! We can’t wait to return over the Christmas period. What a place!

We arrived at Grantley Hall tonight to celebrate our 11th Wedding Anniversary. From the moment we arrived we felt uniquely special and suitably significant. The service was tailored and in tune with our needs despite it not being made obvious to anyone before our arrival. We felt looked after and individual through out our exploration in the grounds of a real fairy tale environment. We met a couple of super in tune lively lads who went above and beyond the call of duty in pursuit of our happiness , it was only when they left us their calling cards did it transpire that they were senior team members who were all out to give us an experience to remember. Can’t recommend this virtual treasure trove of that special magic that turns one visit into a lifetime of memories all laid out by well meaning, organically lead folk who live and love that life less ordinary. What an absolute joy to spend two days at Grantley Hall. This was our second visit and we were not disappointed. It’s a fabulous hotel in beautiful surroundings. The staff are without exception all genuinely very welcoming and very keen for you to enjoy your stay. The rooms are very elegant with beautiful decor. We dined in the Sean Rankin restaurant on the first evening; a fabulous Michelin taster dinner, and on the second evening we visited Fletchers; again delicious cuisine. We enjoyed beautiful weather on the Friday and had a wonderful lunch outside in the Fletchers courtyard. Just perfect! I do think it’s important to say how unspoilt and unpretentious this amazing hotel is and how charming all the staff are. We will definitely be returning!
