I went to Miyajima on a family trip and used it for the first time. It's close to Itsukushima Shrine, right by the sea, right next to the bustling shopping street that is the main street. It was a very nice inn where you can feel the old-fashioned history in places while being well-equipped. There are many free services that are exclusive to hotel guests. There are lounges with free drinks in the lobby and on the top floor where you can enjoy the scenery. There are plenty of drinks and sweets in the room, so I didn't have to worry about spending small drinks. This ryokan responds to guests' requests as flexibly and pleasantly as possible. For example, in our case this time, when we told them in advance that there was a member of the family who had trouble walking, they set up a bed in a Japanese-style room, and changed the basic dishes that were provided to each person's taste. , Even when I was at a loss as to what to do, I was able to have a very comfortable time because I was able to immediately respond flexibly and make suggestions. The hot spring is underground, and it has an old-fashioned a**osphere with only one large bathtub. Compared to the hot spring resorts of today, it may feel unsatisfactory. rice field. The water quality has a slightly salty and smooth feel, and it was stated that the water was pumped from the source and boiled. I was able to take a comfortable bath without feeling stingy or dry even for my family members with sensitive skin. Unfortunately, there are no open-air baths or private baths, but depending on the room, some rooms have open-air baths, so you can choose according to your preference. The highlight here is the quality of the food. It is common for ryokan cuisine to have large differences in the amount of food or not enough depending on the course or price, or the impression and quality of the appearance and appearance of the image on the site is greatly different from the image on the site, which is common in large ryokan cuisine. Not only did I have no sense of failure, such as the food being cold when it was served, but rather, I was able to provide wonderful food that impressed me even more. This time, we ate in the room, and originally the Miyabi set was the basic set, but there are 4 types of seasonal course meals (Miyabi set, delicious fish, delicious meat, delicious feast) on the website. I requested at the advance reservation stage and received all of them in my family. There was absolutely no mistake in any of the courses, and the rich ingredients unique to the land were carefully prepared, and they were all very delicious. We were able to provide a supreme moment that surpassed the best by doing everything, such as making rice balls for dinner. In addition, the breakfast at the dining hall the next morning was surprisingly luxurious with a large number of items, and the amount was appropriate little by little, and the content was very satisfying. In addition, the seasoning is not too light while maintaining a gentle flavor that maximizes the goodness of fresh ingredients, and does not rely on artificial taste manipulation such as umami seasoning. It was served at a perfect temperature and was delicious and I was very impressed. Even teenagers didn't feel unsatisfactory and enjoyed it until the end, and elderly people had no problems with the temperature, seasoning, size and hardness of the ingredients. I have type II diabetes and am always concerned about my blood sugar level, but even if I eat a lot of different foods, the rise in my blood sugar level is mild and does not rise like I usually do when eating out, and I don't feel sick afterwards. so i am very surprised. I think that there are individual differences in how to feel the taste, but I would appreciate it if you could refer to it.

Tremendously expensive, you pay to stay without tourists at night on the island, but there are much better and cheaper hotels on the island. The restaurant with such good references was not open and they put us in the neighboring one which was the worst in our stay in the country. The "tacky" rooms I can't think of another adjective, a riokan with a 5-star price cannot be that horrible.

Amazing view and great service. Very close to the floating Tori gate was a 5 minute walk away. Very nice treats all around, as well as a great dinner and breakfast experience! Make sure to save room for dinner! All around fantastic experience.

A wonderful traditional ryokan hotel on the waterfront at Miyajima with views of the famous Itsukushima Shrine torii gate. The room was immaculate and well appointed, and had a great lounge area with massage chair overlooking the water. We enjoyed the private and public baths, free drinks on the rooftop terrace, as well as a most delicious and impressive kaiseki dinner in our room. Our attendant was lovely and friendly, and took such great care of our mixed Japanese/ Australian party. The next morning we joined other hotel guests in the banquet hall downstairs for a Japanese breakfast. A most enjoyable experience!

The beautiful exterior lets you know at a glance that this is a traditional hot spring inn. Although it is not flashy, it is a very luxurious and relaxing space. It's so comfortable that you can relax and enjoy your stay in the room, and the view from the room is beautiful. All of the meals were so delicious that I ended up eating way too much, and there were a variety of alcoholic beverages to choose from, so even my husband, who loves Japanese sake, was satisfied. Of course it's convenient for sightseeing, and Itsukushima Shrine can be reached in about 3 to 4 minutes on foot, so if you get a little tired, you can immediately go back to your room and take a rest, so I think it can be used by people of all ages with peace of mind.

Kinsuikan was a cozy nice hotel .The room I stayed was a small one without view,(that’s why the price was less expensive than other rooms)but I could enjoy a panoramic view from the roof top terrace instead . Also all the staff members were kind.Recommendable especially for female travelers.

I stayed in a suite room, but please be aware that the service and room are far from what is advertised on the website and YouTube! Although we don't look like a married couple (because we're different in age), we were there for our 15th anniversary, but the woman who showed us around didn't think we were a married couple lol. The room was very convenient to use. Are you saying it's bad, the flow line is bad, or why did they design it like this? As for the decorations, I thought the paulownia wall in the living room was splendid, but the rest was just cheap Kutani ware, etc. There was a massage machine, but it was a half-baked massage machine, and now it is sold at a home appliance store. It's an old item that doesn't even seem to be lined up in stores. Although the bed could be reclined, it was not very comfortable. (It looked like a nursing care bed) It had a semi-open-air bath, but the temperature was kept at 41 degrees with a circulation system, so I had to fill it with water every time I entered. I really liked the view on the website and booked room 410, but in order to see the beautiful view, you have to stand in the middle of the living room. Please note that you cannot see clearly from the bathroom or living room! As for the food, the sashimi was very delicious! Other than that, it seemed like they had only a few items available. I needed ice to drink my juice, so I was wondering if there was an ice bucket? I looked for a place with glasses and couldn't find one, so I asked the front desk and they said that there was a charge...I've stayed in suite rooms in many places, but this is the first time I've been told that I have to pay for ice. , Surprise! Did. Is there usually a charge? I don't think the price will be cheap either. There are many places that offer better rooms and meals at a cheaper price, and provide very good service, so be careful not to get scammed!

Nice ryokan hotel! The front desk spoke enough English and had enough handouts to keep us informed. They had a rooftop and street level terraces with free beverages as well as a book nook to read or relax in with beverages. We upgraded to the sea view and it was worth it. We did not eat at the hotel as we needed a few more “western” options but otherwise, it looked good. We loved our massage chair but it could use a good cleaning. I loved the Onsen and yukatas. I enjoyed looking at the rock wall with moss, plants, and trickling water while in the onsen, but it would have been nicer if the glass was cleaner. The onsen was immaculate I would recommend this hotel for a traditional Japanese experience (we had a Japanese room with four futons on the floor).

This was my second time using it. You can enjoy a panoramic view of Miyajima from the Miyajima terrace on the rooftop, which was not there the last time I stayed. All of the dishes are delicious, and they also have sake to go with them. If you are staying in Miyajima, we recommend this inn.
