Used for my first solo trip to Cuba.
There were reviews saying that it was easy to pick up a casa locally and that you would be approached at the station, but I was worried, so I made a reservation on my favorite Trip.com.
Reason why I made a reservation because the price was reasonable and perfect.
The location is about a 10-minute walk from Havana Old Town (center, old parliament building) and the location is good. A place that blends into the lives of the citizens is also recommended. However, it may be difficult to find the location at first, so I think it's better to go by taxi so you don't get lost. From the airport, you can go for €20- or $20-. Also nearby is the Malecon. The building itself is old but has been renovated and is clean. The room I stayed in has a private room with a toilet and shower, so I'm satisfied. The TV was also showing a movie, and it was perfect to kill time.
The woman who accepted me was polite and had a high level of hospitality, and it was more than perfect. WiFi can be rented for €1 or $1 per hour (I didn't buy a WiFi card at the airport, but renting it at this inn was enough). I was told that it would be €6 or $6 when I turned on the morning, but it was not cheap, but it was a kind inn, so I asked for two days.
