The staff was very polite. The place was clean however there was a massive crack in the window in the room and the radiator didn’t work in the bathroom. There is a car parking place however it can be hard to park there due to people going to pub so had to park on the road. It was clean it was noisy at times as the room was above the pub wouldn’t say it was worth the £160 for the night

nicely tooked away but not too far away from local services about 10 minutes drive to the harbour on a nice worm day this would be a lovely walk

Great stay in two of the cabins at the windmill inn. Everywhere was so clean, the breakfast was brilliant and the staff were so friendly. Would definitely stay again

Had a fantastic stay at the Windmill Inn. All staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Shepards’ huts were clean and cozy. Breakfast was fantastic on both days and location great for both Robin Hoods’ Bay and Whitby. Would definitely stay again and recommend!

Stayed I the shepherd's hut the bed matress was so uncomfortable and the sofa bed was even worse .Very clean the staff were lovely and had a meal there which was all homecooked and very nice. Would go back but only to stay in the hotel and not a shepherd's hut .You won't get any sleep as these are the most Uncomfortable beds we have every tried to sleep on .

We were blown away (even though there’s no windmill or sails!) Enjoyed the most delicious Sunday roast we’d had in a long time. Advise booking, as we did, following fantastic reviews and we were not disappointed. Homemade deliciousness, we all finished our main courses and just had to have dessert! Great service, a**osphere, quality and selection of food and drinks. And the coolest fish tank we’ve ever seen!! Very happy to recommend.

booked this by misleading info on *********** it implied this was a chalet as distinct from a shepherds hut.it is not they are the same thing one small toilet for all four huts very small cloakroom style sink had to move on second day to marstons penny hedge put this one down to expensive mistake
