Upon arrival, the hotel looked very nice, with decent grounds and a beautiful farmhouse to meet you. Parking plentiful also, and has an EV charging area too ( although the golf freaks park in them and not charge their cars). Room 8 was given to us in the main house, and a very nice room. Only two faults with the room. No safe in the wardrobe, and the bed was two singles pushed together. Didn’t affect the feel of it though, and was reasonably comfortable. However, upon arrival, we were asked what time we wanted to book in for breakfast? Really? A weekend break and we were on a schedule for breakfast? Not great eh? I also found that one of the waitresses in the breakfast room was quite rude. Once to us , and once to the table next to us this morning, saying to one customer when taking their order “I have no idea what you’re saying”. She needs to have some training in customer service skills. Have to say, the continental was ok, but on the first morning of our stay, the cooked breakfast was pretty poor, and just couldn’t get an egg right. This morning was better though. All in all a relaxing stay, but those few things really need sorting, and you would’ve got a 5 star rating here. All in all
