Superb night at The White Lion, everything was perfect from the friendly staff to the rooms, bar, food and drinks. Couldn't fault a thing. Stayed in room 9 in the courtyard which was spacious and spotless. Evening dinner and breakfast were absolutely gorgeous. Will definitely be returning.

Delightful one night stay. Central to Hebden Bridge. Nice customer service. Lovely breakfast. Had a meal also which was very nice. Good choice of wines and beers at the bar. Cosy atmosphere. Would recommend staying here and would stay here again.

Stayed here as a couple for 1 night in February. Stayed in courtyard room 7. What a gorgeous room. Bed was very comfortable. It's very spacious and has lots of storage. Large tv, tea/coffee facilities, ensuite with bath and shower. The room was lovely and warm despite the cold weather. The only fault I can make is that there was patterned glass in the bathroom door, some of which was see through. To me, it is a breach of privacy. Breakfast was beautiful. We chose full English with toast and tea and juice. The was plenty of choice on the menu. Parking was great, directly outside of our room. All the staff we met were really friendly. We would definitely return

We stay at the White Lion around 3 times per year. We enjoy the excellent service, lovely breakfast and central location. Free parking is a real bonus. All rooms are spotlessly clean and well maintained.
The hotel is steeped with history and wonderful surroundings.
The White Lion is the best hotel in Hebden.

Had a fantastic meal here with friends! We shared a couple of starters, the pig cheek and trout rillettes were stand out! For main, I had the chicken and mushroom Kiev, it was absolutely delicious. Lovely wine selection too, Picpoul is my favourite and love seeing it by the glass! Sat right by the fire, very cozy 😊

We absolutely LOVED the food! The standard of cooking and variety was like being in a Michelin starred restaurant. This is the second time we have been to the White Lion, this time I bought my mother and her partner for a birthday treat. They also said they absolutely loved it and would like to return soon. Cosy rooms, excellent facilities.
