Black Rock Mountain Resort

Staff was great, shuttle service to slopes was convenient and timely. Heated pool and steam room was great. Large game room with televisions was a great option for the kids when not doing other things. My only feedback for opportunities would be that the location is a bit further than I imagined from Park City and the family above us was stomping when they walked. (Not something the hotel can control but I was surprised we could hear them.)

The shower floor is very slippery and almost fell down and we have to put a towel to take shower after that.

We were able to check in early which was great. Upon checking in we found that it seemed there was an employee or late guest who gained access to the clean room; took a nap on the bed, showered and used the linens. We told front desk and there was zero apology. Just a response of how weird that sounded to them. A quick, “We will have housekeeping get right on that,” was all we needed. Instead we stood there for 10 minutes while they called around and typed on the computer. Weird! Needless to say we had lunch while the room was freshened up. Our server was amazing and my pizza was delicious. The following day we had breakfast and our entire order was completely forgotten about. We were the ONLY guests in the restaurant so we weren’t sure how that happened. After 45 minutes of waiting we tracked down our server who was non existent. After excuses were made our food finally arrived. We did receive a free dessert for our inconveniences. The food was barely above average. I’m not sure if there is turnover service but our room wasn’t touched once. Would have been nice if they let us know the policy. The two bedroom condos were extremely comfortable. Beds were good and we enjoyed all the space the bathroom and closets had to offer. Transportation to town was easy. We downloaded an app to notify the driver of the three designated drop off areas we preferred. Wait times were around 15 minutes. Awesome service…don’t forget to tip your drivers. Overall this is a beautiful resort.

Everything was great big spaces and fantastic staff. My only hang up from a 5 star rating is no room service but the staff was nice enough to bring a meal up if they were not busy. And no alcohol was allowed outside the bar

Beautiful modern resort.

Great location, excellent amenities, friendly and attentive staff. We rented the two bedroom condo. It was clean and spacious with a great view of the mountains. They have a heated pool and hot tub, perfect for after the slopes. They have a great bar and restaurant on site as well. Service was great at both. They offer a free shuttle to the mountains and downtown. It’s a short drive of ten minutes if you drive yourself. Highly recommend.
