This was one of my favorite ever hostel stays, and I have been in 100s by now, as a globetrotter and digital nomad - I was fortunate to have very warm female staff (the management was on holiday but their replacement at reception was more than excellent). Also as it's low season, it was just me and a handful of guests, so it was a restful and unique castle experience. I slept amazingly and everything was clean, breakfast plentiful. I imagine when it's mid or high season you would hear creaking floors and stairways but in January, it gives the vibe character and vibe :) Perfect place for those of us who don't appreciate partying till late, as the door closes at 00.00

It is a total deception, the rooms are much smaller than what you see in the photos, you have to pay for the towels separately, the breakfast is very early and with little variety, it seems like a prison when you arrive you have to grab your sheets and do the laundry. your bed, it's not worth what you pay, a total disappointment and a theft of money

Cute little castle hostel. You pick up linens at the front desk. It has everything you need to sleep for the night and hang out in the common rooms. Beautiful walking trails around the property. Good simple breakfast free with your stay.

This was a very disappointing stay. The room was bare and I had to make my own bed. The room was super cold at night. There was barely any toilet paper. Lack of power outlets to charge my phone except one beside the sink near the front door. It was run by a young student who operated the front desk. Not at all what I was expecting.

We were allowed to celebrate our wedding here. What a great weekend we had. It's an epic place where we didn't leave with all our guests until after the breakfast buffet the next day, the staff were fantastic and the food, snacks and castle beer delicious
