There was consistent drilling noise the two days I stayed in the hotel. I would urge the hotel to employ people who can converse at least a little bit in English. I tried to communicate but was very difficult. They were nice people and at the end they apologized but again it would be nice for them to know some English so foreigners could find it easy to communicate their concerns.

The last stop of the return trip of the Northwest Qinggan Grand Loop in 2024 was arranged to stay in Hefei. I chose the Swissotel Hefei Pearl for accommodation. Nice view from corner deluxe suite room. Seconds away from a Starbucks. Nice parks in walking distance and it's an easy taxi ride to 2 or 3 museums. Breakfast is good (Western food and Chinese), but the restaurant was only open for breakfast so had to go off-site for other meals (maybe this was just during Spring Festival).

Wow! I was very impressed with everything about the hotel. I wish we had been staying longer than our planned two days. Located right next to a subway line, it is in a beautiful part of the city. The room was beautiful, clean, and spacious. It had everything one would need for a stay. It included an iron, fridge, robes, and more. The shower had great water pressure and amenities. I needed a sewing kit and the staff provided it within minutes. The beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast at the hotel has an amazing spread and a wide range of foods, all delicious. I highly recommend this hotel.

The room type is good, but the hygiene is not good enough and the equipment in the room has some problems. We just drove for a short stay for one night.
