The hotel is very charming, with the touch of local life style. The staffs are friendly and breakfast is simple but good. Room is a little old, the one facing the street can be noisy.

The hotel is conveniently located quite close to the train station. The rooms were clean but EXTREMELY small. Rooms over the street are quite noisy. Front desk staff was friendly, but unavailable after 19:00. Breakfast options for vegans or non-lactose people are very limited. In short, it was okay minus for one night, but I couldn't recommend it in general.

It couldn't be closer to the train station/ferry terminal. It took all of a minute to walk there. Checkin took one or two minutes. There is an elevator which holds three or four people. Walking in the old town area where the hotel is is a pleasure with all the shops and cafés. It's very close to Kronborg Castle as well. We did not take advantage of the breakfast so I have no comments about it. It's a good value hotel. I believe it's the same hotel where I stayed in 1979 and it is just as fine as it was back then. Highly recommended.

Long black hairs in bathroom -not mine. Marks from tape all over bathroom mirror. Shower floor looked like nasty.
Absolutely outrageous that all staff disappear from hotel at 7pm and that bar/restaurant closes before then.
The hotel is terribly worn down.
The rooms get very warm and there is no fan, no a/c and no ventilation in rooms.
I will not stay here again.

Everyone was kind and the location was lovely! Curtains on the windows would have made a huge difference though. There are just flimsy blinds and some are broken, so if you are visiting in the summer with long hours of sunlight you’ll find the room bright at 5am! Pack a sleep mask for a better night sleep than I.

Sweet hotel with very friendly staff and location was pefect. Breakfast was excellent. However our room and the bathroom was tiny. Our daughter was in another room and thought hers was small until she saw ours. We couldn't open the window the first night as it was sticking, the room was boiling . The next day with brutal force we managed to open it, only to find the noise from the bar over the road was very loud. Would definitely stay there again but on hindsight, I'd ask for a better room.
