Scandic Paasi

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Stay at Scandic Paasi – Clean, Stylish, and Comfortable Our group of friends from Vietnam had a very pleasant stay at Scandic Paasi during our recent trip to Helsinki. Overall, the hotel was beautiful, clean, and offered very good quality for the price. The rooms were modern, well-designed, and spotless. Beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well-maintained, and everything felt neat and thoughtfully arranged. After long days exploring the city, it was a great place to rest and recharge. We also loved the hotel’s unique design and cozy atmosphere—it felt modern but still warm and welcoming. The common areas were spacious and nicely decorated, perfect for relaxing or chatting together as a group. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and key attractions in Helsinki. Breakfast was another highlight: good variety, fresh ingredients, and a nice Scandinavian touch that our group really enjoyed. Overall, Scandic Paasi delivered exactly what we were looking for: a clean, comfortable, and high-quality hotel experience. We would definitely recommend it to friends and would happily stay here again on our next visit to Helsinki.

Scandic Paasi has a great location close to public transport, but you can also walk to the waterfront. My room in the back was nice and quiet. Breakfast was excellent and a real deal if you get the member rate. Only problem was to sign up online as a Scandic member. Hopefully this will been fixed as I write this.

The hotel is not in the bustling side of the city, but it is right next to the Hakaniemi market and very near to the Metro and tram stops which only takes 1 - 2 stops to reach the city centre. We booked a Superior Room, which was very spacious. We got the one with the kitchenette (was hoping for the one with sauna, though). The kitchenette is only for heating food, not for cooking. There's cups, plates and cutlery provided, and a microwave. The best thing about the room is actually the bathroom. The heated floor was so fantastic as the floor is usually cold especially early in the morning and after showers in other hotel. But in this hotel, the bathroom is the most cosy and warm space in the room. The room decor is unique, but I think it is time for a facelift as it looks a bit worn over the years. Breakfast was just normal as per others. We could leave our luggage in the luggage room after we check out, which was great. Just note that any of the guests could request for access card to the luggage room, so everything's based on trust. Make sure you don't leave money or valuables, to be safe. All in all, a good stay.

Good location. Hotel looks nice, it also has a gym and little lobby bar. Especially I liked the gym. Small but equient was enough.
