Ooh, the central train station is about 10 minutes away. It’s awkward to carry a suitcase on a snowy day, but there are also trams that go directly to the downstairs of the youth hostel. The location is convenient and there is an elevator, but it’s inconvenient that you have to check in at a designated time and you can’t store your luggage.

GUEST WI-FI IS DOWN throughout my stay and no alternative network is available, then I missed one online meeting. BEDSIDE SOCKET IS BROKEN, making it impossible to use the phone or tablet while charging, and the ADVERTISING IS QUITE MISLEADING —I booked a single room at Trip.com, I thought it would be a room with private toilet, since nothing was mentioned in the title while other types of rooms are highlighted for the “shared bathroom”. Well, and the SOUNDPROOF can just be ignored.
Maybe ‘Hostel’ is better for the name.

There is no way to get a key after 22:00. This is very inconvenient ; due to Finnish border issues we had over 10 hour delay. Hotel sees this as "no show", while the client simply shows up a bit later. Difficult to find as well.

Very nice price and at the same time in the city center. Everything is nearby: metro, shops, main attractions, trolleybus stop right at the hotel. This is a small and cozy boutique hotel. There is everything you need. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. I definitely recommend this boutique hotel!👍😊

This is the best option for 2-3 stops in Helsinki, close to Senate Square, Alexandrin Katu, tram directly to the ferry (if anyone needs it), everything is nearby, awesome service staff, they speak Finnish, English, Estonian, Russian, cleanliness in the rooms, you feel like the old days, before the liberation of Finland

Most lovely and cozy hotel in Helsinki by my opinion! Rooms are clean and fresh, best view from window compared to price! They have a kitchen where you can find anything you need to make food, also tea, coffee and even cookies. Everything is themed in old Finland house way, feels like a home also personal is super sweet and helpful.And I can’t forget about the view from balcony 🤤 highly recommended 10/10💌

The hotel refused a later check in (when our flights were changed) and said we must cancel. Being left without accommodation on the very day of travel was difficult enough, but not refunding us was simply unfair. In decades of travelling I have found hotels always to help to find a solution to unexpected circumstances, I have never encountered this stone-walling inflexibility before. Afterwards I asked to talk to the management, never heard back. I rarely make the effort to leave a negative review, but in this case I just must.
