The worst stay ever in any Marriott Property. To wit: 1. Not enough staff. Long waits for everything. Coffee line in the AM contained 15 people, one server. Not enough cleaning people. Plan on 5 PM or later unless you complain. 2. No one cleans the pool. It is plagued with discolored areas around all the drains. 3. Palm seeds are everywhere on the pool deck and when you step on them, they are quite painful. A simple leaf blowing in the AM would work but, no one to do it. 4. Existing staff is lazy and rude. They walk around a lot but do next to nothing. 5. Upper pool opens at 9 AM, lower pool (and kid's playground) opens at 10 AM because... right, no staff. 6. Lifeguards do not have a key to open the pool gates. The tall ones can reach over the gate. The shorter ones use a stick or a board to bang the handle and hope it opens. 7. Bird droppings are everywhere and are on all the furniture. If you want to sit anywhere, be sure to get a pool towel. Not until 9 AM though... no staff. So f you wish a peaceful coffee outdoors before 9, sit in the droppings. Windows, your balcony railings, your balcony, the pool deck, the furniture... seriously.. everywhere. 8. The building itself is worn and has not see maintenance in a long time. The pergola near the pool is in desperate need of painting. The marble stairs are worn, cracked and chipped. The room doors do not shut without slamming them and do not always LOCK. Room safes do not work. 9. They put large meetings OUTDOORS so a) the audience cannot see the screen due to bright sun b) the audiences could not hear and worst c) you could hear it all very clearly on the pool deck. Kiss you peace and quiet goodbye. They CLEARLY cater to groups. 10. Room cleaning.. IF YOU GET ONE is very late. Promises not kept by staff because they are low... on staff. 11. ONE valet to handle a Saturday wedding. Let us just say if there was an emergency no equipment would have gotten near this building. 12. The 'hotel manager' who sounded like a teen on the phone could care less, was without remorse, raised her voice. She did however promise a $100 off my bill (of $1,300) but you guessed it, never happened because... no care, no remorse, not enough staff. There simply is no one with any experience and certainly no care or remorse working this property. You are on your own and good luck getting coffee in the AM and getting your room cleaned. The buffet is $30/pp and even though you serve yourself, they want to be tipped. There are plenty of places to stay in Las Vegas... say there.
