A beautiful hotel, in a perfect location, with impeccable service and attention. From the moment we arrived we knew we'd made the right choice! The room was excellent with a very comfortable bed and a wonderful balcony with views overlooking the Old Venetian Harbour. The breakfast in the morning was beautiful with so many delicious options and the roof top pool and bar were just perfect after a day of exploring Heraklion. But best of all were the staff - we were greeted with a warm welcome upon our arrival and everyone was happily willing to assist with anything we needed, making our stay at GDM Megaron just perfect.

We had an excellent stay in mid May. Rooms are great. Very good location with easy walking to sites, shopping, and restaurants. The breakfast spread was a feast for the eyes, senses, and stomach. The variety of foods and pastries was staggering. I would stay here again without hesitation.

An absolutely wonderful hotel with a su[perb view ove the harbor, a good restaurant, and very helpful reception and staff. Well located, too - just 5 or ten minutes from the superb archaeological museum and the center of Heraklion, but still in a quiet back street. One of the lucky-find hotels I'd be very glad to visit again!
