The picture of the room is not clear. We booked a superior sea view room. The picture we saw was with a balcony, but we gave a room without a balcony. This is controversial and I feel cheated. Fortunately, through the coordination of the Ctrip platform, it was said that it would upgrade us to have a balcony. I hope the hotel makes it clear in the room description.

An excellent hotels, set within a beautiful location. Rooms decorated and amenities provided, to a very high standard throughout. Staff are cheerful, well trained and attentive in all areas, from your welcome to departure. Breakfast to suit every taste, Ana provided a smiley welcome each morning. Augustos, set on the marina front, provided excellent quality dining with attentive and friendly staff. As previously reviewed, the only negative would be the additional cost for poolside beds, which remained unused by most, for the majority of our stay. Overall a beautiful hotel, in picturesque surroundings, lovely staff and excellent accommodation and we enjoyed our stay from start to finish and will be back x highly recommended

Wonderful Hotel. 5* all the way. Can’t really single out any staff, as they are all so helpful from those on reception to porters, and the cleaning team. Nothing is too much trouble; they will make reservations at local restaurants; call taxis; ‘phone the travel company rep with queries; and you are always greeted at the beginning and end of every day with a smile and a genuine ‘Have a lovely day / How was your day?’ Room cleaned to spotless standard. Several breakfast ‘stations’ with huge choice, and eggs cooked to your liking which sets anyone up for the rest of the day. Limoncello spritz cocktail in the bright and airy lounge of the historic building is sooo good! Well worth paying extra for a superior sea view room with balcony, as views are spectacular. Top tip: take plenty of mozzie spray or cream when sitting outside in the evenings as they are lethal! ‘Agosto’ restaurant at the back of the old building, overlooking the marina very good, if a little pricey. ‘Bread and Wines’ eatery on the ground floor, lovely too.

Fabulous hotel! Staff so friendly and attentive. Excellent service. Very comfortable room with high standard of amenities (we were upgraded to a suite which was super comfortable) Loved dining in the evening at the Augusto hotel restaurant; fine dining menu was stunning. Private beach with plenty of beds for relaxing and a very chilled out beach front fresh water pool. Stunning location surrounded by mountains and set on the harbour front. We loved the Spa facilities and indoor swimming pool. Breakfast buffet was excellent, plenty of choice and attentive service. If you’re looking for something very special and need spoiling and some extreme relaxation, then this hotel will not disappoint. Has an exclusive (but casual) vibe. Highly recommended for couples looking for something special and in need of some ultra spoiling!
