Hana Hotel Hanazono Inter

Fukaya|7.96km from Jorenji
Cheap even with non-smoking, large communal bath and full service with breakfast. It costs less than 10,000 yen for two double people. Moreover, you can get a free ticket for the affiliated hot spring facilities (when applying for the original HP). It's a deadline, but it's about two months, so it's enough. You can also use facilities that exceed 1,000 yen such as Hanayu no Mori for free. Personally, I think Hanayu Spa Resort is good. The sauna is also very nice. Although it is in a remote place, there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets in the area. I like to drive and buy and spend time in my room. Of course, while enjoying the hot springs at night, in the morning and in the hot springs. It is often quite full, probably because it is conveniently located for sightseeing in the direction of Chichibu Nagashima and shopping in the direction of Fukaya. I'm asking you that there will be a No. 2 store in Hanazono nearby, but I would like to ask you. Speaking of greed, please expand more in the direction of Chichibu. I don't think Chichibu is catching up with the demand for accommodation (route-in is too bullish 😅). ◾️ Good points Cheap Beautiful Amenity abundant (self-made) Free drinks (coffee), free chocolate Breakfast is also rich The western room has a good view such as the mountains of Chichibu Chichibu, Naga , Good access to Fukaya area ◾️ Bad points Too popular? Difficult to make a reservation No bacon Far from the station

Following last fall, I visited again with my wife and was very satisfied this time as well. Chichibu's inn has a lot of narrow locations in the valley, but it is located on a blank plateau where the early summer breeze blows through, and the mountains of Higashi Chichibu spread out in front of you from the hot springs. From the small hill behind the hotel, you can overlook the Chichibu Basin. I felt that the hall was clean and quiet, and the virus countermeasures were taken properly. The meal was rich in wild plants and local vegetables, and especially the soaking of itadori (Scanpo) and tempura was the first time, but it was very delicious. In addition, I enjoyed freshly picked ingredients such as bamboo shoots, yomogi, and tadpoles leaves. The meal that enjoys the blessings of nature in this way is really good. I thought it was the catch phrase of the hotel, ”It's not luxurious but a zeitak meal.” I'm about to be a repeater, and I want to change the season and revisit as many times as I want. Next, I'm going to visit hydrangea and fireflies aiming for the sunny days of the rainy season. There seems to be a night view tour (it was good to participate last fall), barbecue, etc., and there are various accommodation plans. Actually, this time it was a plan for the ”Poppy Festival in the Sky” scheduled nearby. Just before that, a notice of unauthorization of the use of the parking lot came from Saitama Prefecture, and the festival was canceled, and it was a very sorry situation for the locals 々 who were prepared with all their hearts. Thanks to the hotel's accurate alternative measures, there was no major hindrance to our trip. On the first day, we stayed from Wado Kurodani Station beyond Mt. Bino (Mt. Bino), and the next day, we had them sent to the place where the ”Poppy Festival in the Sky” was scheduled. While looking at the bright red poppy from the road outside the venue, I walked with the porridge Nitta Pass and Mt. Ogiri, descended to the peak, and enjoyed the green early summer mountains.

Nagatoro|8.85km from Jorenji
4 Senior backpackers in Japan ”stumbled” onto this gem of a Japanese inn next to the Arakawa River. Less than 10 minute walk from the Kami-Nagatoro station and 10 minute walk to Nagatoro Station. We chose location due to proximity to river and start of river boat downstream river ride-sites. We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality shown throughout our two-day stay. We were late in coming out of the mountains of Gunma prefecture (2 hour plus train ride away) and called the inn to notify and were subsequently told that this was no problem for check-in and supper. Fortunately we made up time lost and got to the inn earlier that expected and enjoyed the serene tree-lined river and men's and women's communal furo (shower/bath also in rooms) with outdoor views before dining. Then...we were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of the dinner! A real treat to get a 7+ course Japanese meal featuring the specialty vegetables and protein of the region! Upon departure we chose to walk with packs back to Kami-Nagatoro Station, along the river, but the proprietor had the Inn van ready and waiting to take us to the train station. The included breakfast's were also multi-course Japanese style, with regional specialties. Granted, the hotel is somewhat time-worn, probably seeing its zenith in the 80's and 90's but all the facilities were cleaning, usable and safe. All staff went made a great effort to ensure that we were enjoying the locale and the Inn. This location, in our opinion is much more serene and ”touristy” than the main area surrounding Nagatoro station but is only 10 minutes walking from that action. If opportunity arises, we will return. The Saitama Museum of Natural is just across the street but this large and modern facility was not open on our late arrival and on Monday. We left on Tuesday morning, but wanted to visit this place also.
