Food was lovely , clean well kept rooms not so great on checkout when the receptionist did not recognise trip . Com and advised we hadn’t paid despite us showing her confirmation of pre payment

Had a lovely meal at 61. The service was exceptional by Maria. She was very attentive. The steak with chimichuri sauce was excellent and the baked Alaska desert was delicious too. Something you don’t often see on a menu so it was a nice change. All the food was really well presented. It was reasonably priced too. Will definitely be back soon.

Checking in was painless even though arrived after 6pm, lady was very polite and also served my dinner, gentleman i think is the owner and starter on photo was a nice gesture as on the house, bedroom clean, could have done with coffee bags instead of instant but of course higher cost, again another lady serving breakfast very polite along with checking out, will be staying there again when returning, pictures of my dinner as these get sent home so Mrs knows what i sm eating! thank you

Fantastic food, worth a detour from the city. You can tell the quality of the ingredients was good, ambience was relaxing with music you were aware of but not so loud you couldn’t hear yourself think. Service was friendly but not in your face. Oh and the food was excellent!

Everything about our stay was excellent. All staff was very friendly and welcoming, we had evening meal and breakfast, all food was delicious, rooms were spacious and comfortable, only thing is it is not a hotel if you have disabled that cannot climb stairs has there is no lift

Anyone who gave this less than 5 stars is either lying or miserable and difficult to please. Trust me! I never leave reviews like this, but they absolutely deserve it! The pictures don’t do it justice, the staff bent over backwards for us. They made me a meal that wasn’t even on the menu due to my food issues. They ensured my room was right for my PTSD. I’ve stayed in more expensive places, but they can’t match up to this level of customer satisfaction. Oh, did I mention the price for two people to have dinner, hotel and breakfast?!!! Honestly, the price is soooooooo good!!!!! I can’t wait to go back!! ♥️

Another wonderful stay at this delightful hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Especially Margaret on reception and Amanda in the restaurant. The food is exceptional! We stayed for 3 nights. Ideal for nearby golf courses. We will be booking a 2 night stay next month. Can't recommend it enough.

A lovely Mother's day lunch, special touches like a glass of bubbly for Mum and a surprise gift on the table made it special. The meal was first class and service was very good,all in all a very enjoyable experience for Mother's Day. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.
