Hilton Grand Vacations Club Ocean Oak Resort Hilton Head

We chose to stay here for one night in between other lowcountry destinations we were visiting and wished we had booked more time! We were in a beautiful, updated 2 bedroom 2 bath unit with a great ocean view. It was well outfitted for a family stay and accommodated our family of 5 very comfortably. The oceanfront location was perfect and the heated pool was great for this time of year when the weather isn’t consistently warm. The beach, as always, is nice and wide and great for walking, bike riding, exploring, etc. We will definitely be back!

This property is absolutely fantastic! The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. The access to the beach is terrific! The pool is huge, heated and open until 10 PM. Great space in the Jacuzzi enough for over 12 people. The access to lounge chairs is really good as well. I can’t say enough about the spacious rooms and accommodations. They thought of every detail and the layout is simply amazing! The concierge service gets a 10 on a scale of 1 to 5 honestly, they assist with everything from bike rentals, restaurant reservations, really anything you need in the area. The DVD rental is key for those nights when you just want to hang out - even after dinner, in the room. The staff couldn’t be any more accommodating from initial check-in and bell service to your daily needs during your stay. I would come back here for every vacation if I could- it’s a pretty popular spot so you need to book months and months in advance. I’m glad I did (booked 7 months in advance) and took advantage of this property.

The resort is on the beach. The facility was very clean and up to date. They were working on pool area and other areas painting the areas to ensure they were in excellent condition. Grounds were immaculate. People were very friendly.

It was a sister's trip and we really enjoyed it!! It was more than we expected and would come back again!!

This is a beautiful property right on the ocean. The staff could not be more friendly or accommodating. We had a wonderful time staying in our beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath condo with ocean and pool views from our balcony!

Excellent service and diverse experience programs. The dishwasher and coffee machine were dirty.

We are longtime owners of multiple Hilton Grand Vacation Club properties, and overall are quite pleased with the organization. The experience of staying at Ocean Oak Resort is among the top - if not the very best - in all of the Hilton Grand Vacation entities. This is our third time staying here, and consistency + super helpful, friendly staff and the hallmarks of Ocean Oak. Rooms are spacious, amazingly clean, and well equipped with newer appliances and furniture. Quality is high. And EVERY employee we have interacted with over the 3 years - 15-20 - is courteous, respectful, and kind. And any questions or issues are quickly addressed in a pleasant manner. There are a few very minor negatives that we have experienced that we will mention in the interest of objectivity. While the rooms are spotless, the cooking utensils, dishes, cups, plates have at times have not been cleaned very well and we have washed them again. I mention this because it is an odd occurrence we have never experienced ever in the past at over 50 Hilton and RCI trips. Also, some of the amenities like towels, washrags are missing at times. Very minor items, and are immediately corrected by the staff here. You can see if the above items are the worst things we have experienced - this is one incredibly good operation here at Ocean Oak, and you will not be disappointed. Oh yeah...one other thing. It is not easy to book a room here. I suspect it is because most other guests feel the same as we do, and plan on returning often.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ocean Oak Resort. The suite was super clean and looked like it was brand new. Very large open space included full kitchen, dining, living room. 2 large bedrooms with comfortable beds and 2 large bathrooms. We had an ocean view suite and could see the ocean clearly from the bedroom, living room and of course, from the large balcony. John showed us to our room and helped with the luggage. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Our only complaint would be the staff at the onsite restaurant seemed to want to avoid helping guest. The first night they told us the kitchen was closed even through it was at least and hour before scheduled closing time. I went down for breakfast the next morning and there was no one there to take my order, other people were sitting there eating their food so I know they were open. My wife and her sister were finally able to get lunch there, but said the staff seemed unfriendly. I highly recommend this property for a Hilton Head vacation. Just avoid the onsite restaurant and you should have a great stay!

A truly beautiful resort on a subdued vacation island. Two great pools. Unbelievable access to a lovely beach. Staying here you are almost guaranteed a nice vacation. My only complaint is they don’t have sufficient parking available. Having a car on the island is kind of helpful and having to search for a parking spot every time you leave the hotel is mildly frustrating.
