I loved the picking on lake champlain, very comfortable bed and the perfect service! I recommend with eyes closed. We were even accommodated to stay 1 hour longer.

We paid almost $500 per night & realized shortly there after this place typically goes for around $150. Not sure why the major price gouge. It's definitely more of a $150.00 price point. Spa was packed with kids not even staying at the hotel. Bubbles didn't work in the spa. Bathroom floor had hair on it upon check as well as what looked like pillow stuffing on the carpet. The restaurant menu looked amazing, but we tried it first day of the menu change which didn't go so well. They must have been overwhelmed, which left us underwhelmed. We paid for the lake view upgrade, but our room was right in front of trees, so we could hardly see the lake at all. (something they should tell you when you pay the upgrade). I will say the location was great & the front desk staff was super friendly. But I would not pay almost $2000 for a three night stay here again. We've paid less for 5 star hotels.

We booked this hotel with a group rate through a travel agency affiliated with the local Nordic Cup tournament. You are provided with a list of hotels partnering with the tourney and then block rooms for your group. Our U12 soccer group chose this hotel for location, pool, on-site restaurant & bar and outdoor courtyard with fire pit. Wonderful amenities. Approximately 2 weeks before arrival we received the “get ready for your stay” email. In small print towards bottom it said pool will be closed. Within 5 minutes of receiving the email I called the hotel (no answer) and then emailed the hotel manager. The respond was basically sorry for the inconvenience. Asked for a discounted rate for all our parents, answer was no. We had no other options to cancel and book anywhere else. Upon checkin we were offered to use the pool at the Hilton around the corner. It all just felt like poor customer service. You know you’re hosting groups of kids this weekend, don’t start pool renovations. Outdoor fire pit- didn’t work. Notified staff, they couldn’t get it to work. Hotel bar. Understaffed. Long waits for drinks with a very manageable amount of guests Basic alcohol and wines were in short supply or not available. But they didn’t want us to bring our own into the lobby/lounge area. Rooms were okay. Bit outdated. Large walk-in shower was nice. Water pressure on the soft side. AC couldn’t keep room cool enough. Room 625. Location was great, Lake Champlain directly across the street and down the hill. Staff were friendly. Did not eat at the restaurant. Bikes for rent outside in the courtyard. Parking in garage was easy. It’s a $200 per night hotel that gets to charge more for the location basically.

This is a second review....stayed here 10 years ago. In 2014, i wrote "Booked at gov rate on wbsite. Check in was courteous and rapid. Free parking during the labor day weekend! Normally, less than 10$ anyways. Was provided with a large corner unit with 2 double beds, partial view of the lake (moreo of parking lot next door), modern furniture, sofa, LCD TV with good channel selection, large bathroom, free wifi. The gym in the basement is well equipped, plenty of cardio and weights, and the pool is good for a good dip, less so for laps. Did not use the restaurants but there is plenty of options close by (Skinny Pancake anyone?). Well worth if you get a good deal. Walking distance to downtown is a major plus." In 2024, got a room with a double bed and sofa for 125$US GOC/ night rate for 3 nights via Bonvoy app. Not much as changed, good room, decent view, loved the cookies and maple candy at entrance. Parking is now 15$ a day which is still good. A great place to stay.

The hotel is in a great location for visiting Church Street shops and restaurants, food in the hotel was excellent and the staff could not have been nicer. Best place I have ever stayed in Burlington. Only issues were small; floor in the shower in room 705 doesn't tilt toward the drain so there is a large slippery puddle left even 24 hours after you last showered, towel bar or hooks on the back of bathroom door would have been really handy, and bathroom sink has a big crack in it, which didn't affect function at all, but may get worse over time, so check it out. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Burlington VT for a couple of days to "experience" the April 8th solar eclipse (Burlington VT was in the eclipse's path of totality). This was our first visit. Although it was a bit pricey (on account of the eclipse) our two night stay did not disappoint. Off street parking in the adjoining parking garage the Marriott shares with Hotel Vermont was safe, with quick & easy access to pull our beach chairs for the big event. Staff have a good sense of humor too ... when we checked in the desk clerk handed us an "Eclipse" goodie bag full of fun stuff ... a couple of regulation eclipse glasses, the Burlington eclipse event guide, a postcard, some stickers, and even a few celestial-themed candies/treats --> a sleeve of Starbusts, Moon Pies ("the original marshmallow sandwich!) and Orbit gum. Too fun! Our room was well-appointed, quiet, and comfy. I would highly recommend this hotel.

NIce hotel near restaurants, shops and walking along the path above the lake. Wonderful dining and bar. We ate dinner and breakfast in the hotel and food was delicious.
